Your comment really resonated with me because I've always felt that older video game music has so much potential, and every time I do an arrangement, I try to unlock the potential of the original track rather than adding new stuff to it. Started replaying "The lost age" two days ago. Just finished rochair. That game is still a better turned based RPG than most of the titles today. One of the only game that didn't insult my intelligence on it's puzzles.

I recently built a home theater sound system. When I was listening to 0rangstang's remixes while on a long trip, this one came to play. I knew I just had to try it out in the theatre with it's full range audio fidelity and... I was not disappointed. The low end and the highs dance with the mids and creates a melody unlike which I've ever heard before from a remixed song from my most favorite video game series of all time.
I really don't know how to explain what this remix made me feel, i have listened dozens of arrangements of Golden Sun BSO and this theme and with no doubt this is the best i have ever listened. Deserved sub

Man, I know you're not planning on doing any more covers of Golden Sun (and I've read through the comments and I get why) but oh boy, in an alternate reality where you were mesmerized by the entire soundtrack and wanted to do it justice as well, your rendition for songs like Venus Lighthouse and Set Sail through the Karagol Sea would be some of the best things I've ever listened to in my whole life.
Yikes, this is amazing. It adds an even greater mystical wonder than the original, and the original is stunning as it is! I get a feeling of "This is a new adventure about to start" from this remix.

Malcolm Robinson Music - I can't agree with this statement more. There aren't a whole lot of songs that contain enough heart, soul and feeling to move me close to tears but my initial discovery of your Final Fantasy IV boss theme and fiend theme covers have done just that. I've just about listened to everything in your channel at least once and I feel you have even outdone the original compositions in some. I would donate if there was an option but I'm not seeing one. It's also good to know that there are people who like my more obscure covers. I make them knowing that they won't get a lot of views, but it's worth it as long as there are at least some people out there who like them.
Thanks! That means a lot to me. I stopped uploading compositions in 2015 to focus more on covers, but I've continued to compose my own music. The style of music that I'm composing nowadays is much closer to traditional video game music than the "epic" style that I was going for originally. I'm not sure when I'll start uploading them again, but it might be a couple years from now.
I was 10 when I first turned on my GBA and experienced this magical game. Nothing so far has brought back that feeling I experienced over 20 years ago...almost brings tears to my eyes that my generation has possibly grew up in the Golden age of video games before corporate greed took over the industry...

Golden Sun has its own genre.. a jrpg Zelda Game. There is no Others Game with such a system. I replay now all Games again. 😍
