This great that Tile has upgraded their new gadget devices before end of 2024 with Life360. I wish they could of brought this out sooner when I bought a bunch old Tiles Stickers 2022 few months ago 😢 It's has 250ft location and IP68 water resistance!! Oh not used tiles 2022 will it be worth keeping them the old or sell them and upgrading new Tile Life360?
I just got one (two actually), but I'm wary about the location permissions. Don't like giving ANY big tech companies (and who knows what other entities are then allowed to locate me and my whereabout, home or business address etc.) my locations.
Totally understand but in this case there's just no way for these products to function if they can't use your location. It's literally what these items do. 🤷🏻
The card version is the only one that has a reason to not allow battery replacements. It's so than that you'd have to split it apart, nearly breaking it to replace the pouch battery. The others have no reason and it's not acceptable. Non-replaceable batteries, Tile is now owned by some unknown third party, and it has by far the worst coverage are plenty of reasons why these are bad products compared to their competitors.
Agree to agree but I imagine it's easier to make something small and waterproof when it doesn't open. Also, 3 years is impressive so that helps. Airtags only promise a year and I think smart tags are 2 years.
@@TechItBeforeYouWreckIt Agree to agree? That's a new one of me unless it's a typo. It's not difficult to make something water resistant though is it? A gasket and a slight bit of pressure is all you need. I disagree that items with such a short working life should be manufactured. PCBs are composites and cannot be recycled. No one is recycling the components on the PCB. So at best, the only things being recycled is the battery and the shell. I've have SmartTags for years. I'm happy that i can change the batteries when ever required.
Subscribed just because of your intro clip.
The intro clip, background track, and channel name tells me you're a hip hopper.
Hahaha. Or just a 90s kid, right? Welcome
congratulations on your 100th video
Thanks for noticing!! Hit video 100 and 5k subs around the same time. 😁

Agree, great to see a new update. They are ip68
So did you do a video actually testing them?
Been working on it. Actually mailed the trackers across the country. should be a good video.

This shouldn't need an app.
