Have you thought of doing a video of you sewing one of these shirts together? I'm amazed at the way you lay these shirts out by eye and just tear into them. It seems like you can already see the final product in your minds eye. You're very talented.
@@Doctor_Al Lolz. You’re correct; I’ve seen the final product in my mind even while I’m cutting. Thanks a lot Doctor_AI. Yeah sure; I’ll make videos on the sewing part too. Stay updated on the channel. Thank you for the feedback.
Nice job. Just come across this channel. Please, how do you determine your arm hole. As a Seamstress, I use my shoulder divided by2 for my arm hoke, and it has been working perfectly for me
Thank you so much Ifeyinwa. I was using that method before to determine the armhole and it can work in certain cases but it won't give you accuracy at all times especially if you're making the clothe for a plumpy or a big person. Okay. I'll work on it. Yes, i do give classes. My online Whatsapp ready to wear class will begin soon. Stay updated on the channel. I'll make the announcement soon.

I use Phillips pressing iron. It's quite durable and gets the job done fast. There are some German brands i'll review and recommend in a future video. For the scissors, I'll do a review soon on some recommended brands.
Yes, it's important because a well made English shirt is suppose to be fitted around the collar. So taking the neck measurement enables you to cut the neckline accurately.

That method doesn't give a good result, it usually leads to excess fabric on the back part of the cloth and it can make one part of the sleeve longer than another part.
Can one use this method for female shirt ? When stitching a collar to the neck, why does it sometimes result in excess fabric folding, causing a less smooth appearance?"the collar doesn’t lay smoothly 😢
Yes. Same method can be used to sew a female shirt. It's just that in female shirt, the button hole placket is on the right side while in men's shirt, it's on the left. Yes, i faced that issue too for years; it's either the collar becomes longer than the neck or the neck becomes wider than the collar. I later found the solution. Stay updated on the channel. I'll drop a video on it soon.
I had that issue when i was at the fashion school. I would spend 8 hours on a cloth that'll take another person 45 minutes. I later found a technique that can increase speed in sewing. I'll do a separate video on that. Thanks for the feedback.

Good evening bro. Please which pressing iron are you using?
And you best scissors 🙏

Do I always need to measure the neck?
Yes, it's important because a well made English shirt is suppose to be fitted around the collar. So taking the neck measurement enables you to cut the neckline accurately.

Can u do in CM
Okay. I'll do another video with cm. Click the notification bell so that whenever i upload again, you'll get to see.
Pls sir, why don't you cut the front of the long sleeve when cutting, just like you did with the armhole?
That method doesn't give a good result, it usually leads to excess fabric on the back part of the cloth and it can make one part of the sleeve longer than another part.

That problem can also be caused by the way you cut the neckline of the shirt. I'll explain deeper when i drop the video.
Thanks so much for always coming through, I’m already addicted to ur channel already, I go no where 😂
I can sew but I’m really slow 😢
