    Great guide! Definitely came across a lot of this on my road trip around Switzerland, especially being surprised by the car train! Been following you after coming across your Norway video. Keep up the great work.

    Cool video, thanks for that. Just a quick note: The cycle lanes in the middle of the carriageway only exist on multi-lane roads in cities and are there so that cyclists can also turn. If there were only a cycle lane on the right-hand side, which must be used, turning left would be impossible or awkward and dangerous. The cycle lanes are always on the right-hand side of the respective lane and are not intended to annoy car drivers. 😉

    Also, pedestrians really do have the right of way. They will cross in crosswalks without even looking for oncoming traffic.

      The rental company took care of everything so I am not sure if you need anything specific if driving in from another country

      Yes to use the Swiss motorways / highways you must buy the annual vignette 40 CHF. if you use local slow streets under 80km/h then no need for vignette.
