Alisa Childers is an American singer, known as a member of the all-female Christian music group ZOEgirl. Childers has authored two books, Another Gospel recounts her experience with progressive Christianity and deconstruction. In it she describes having attended what was portrayed as a Bible study, her conclusion that it was an attempt to destroy her faith, and her journey back to that faith. Her second, Live Your Truth and Other Lies continues in the same vein as her prior book, countering common phrases heard in the secular world.

Bless you pastor. It seems to me that Covid taught people that the church was not essential because the government said so. Some of the people believed it and have dropped out. We haven't been able to have in person prayer meeting on Wednesday nights because we can't get people to come. We do it on zoom.
