In the summer of ‘85, I was a 6 yo girl, growing up in Chicago and an old man tried to abduct me. He told me my mom was waiting for me at home and he needed to take me home ‘now.’ As surely as I write this I KNOW what happened next, was the Holy Spirit saving my life: As the man came at me to grab me-in my head there was a LOUD, AUDITABLE voice that sounded like thunder. It was so loud and it commanded me to “Run, go, now, go! Don’t look back! GO!” I had NEVER heard it before. It was so loud I would have thought the whole block could have heard it, but then realized years later; the message was for me. Only me. Thats why no one else heard it. I remember vividly that I was barefoot that day-not in my normal flip flops. I was waiting for the Ice cream man when the old man approached me. Funny enough, something just told me to play barefoot that day, and not bother putting on my flip flops. That was a choice that helped save my life. As soon and I heard that voice in my head …. I ran as fast as my little legs could and I was screaming at the top of my lungs. I didn’t turn around, I ran all the way home before I even would look back. He was no where to be seen- even the cops could not find him. Whatever happened to him, to this day, no one knows. It scares me to think he could have taken other little girls or boys…. That voice I heard was not my own, that I know. These days I’m a mom and wife and I have a great life- but who knows what would have become of me if I didn’t listen to that voice? Call me crazy, but I know what happened….and it confirms my father in heaven has been with me since I was born. People always want to see or witness a miracle, and I can tell you, they are so real. I lived through one. Glory to YESHUA!

10:53 WOW. He is so right. Families push college on their children but they have NO CLUE. College is the best way to make your child “liberal” and against Gods word. I was in college and we were protesting for same sex and trans rights, abortion rights, women’s rights etc. and I thought I was doing a good thing‼️‼️‼️ that’s what’s scary. All of which was contrary to the Word of GOD 😔 Christians used to come to our school and set up a table with flyers, trying to show us why gay rights or abortion is wrong and we “hated” them. We thought they were evil and mean!! If I could turn back time I would be thanking them. Wish I had their information so they know the work they do IS impactful.

This Pastor has been a solid source of truth in my life for over 25 years! Lord raise up more truth teachers!

Why would MacArthur care about the children? According to him, most of them are destined by God as hellbound anyway. So, what's the use?

😂it is great to hear such clear& true words...in Aust the churches threw God's Word out when they stopped having Sunday School & some never persevered to keep it going because there wasn't enough children"...now we have a society of unruly thugs.. God help us all..✝️🙏🙏🙏✝️

I worked once for a bully. It easnt to the extent of what we're talking about here, but it was still a miserable experience at times. Don't get into ministry until you've cultuvated well the fruits of the Spirit...

Man, good for you. 👍🏻 I was there and figured this stuff out for myself (well, me and the Lord, obviously). Now I make sure that any pastor friend of mine who starts showing signs of burnout, has my full attention. I don't want anyone to have to go through what I did. There is healing, and there is a way through this. There is life after burn-out. 🙏🏻

The message of Christ is fighting for its life because we have emotionally idolized candidates, losing our focus on Christ. That's why we must keep speaking the unadulterated Gospel! You know you're preaching God's word when it even challenges and offends the body of Christ. Go harder!!! lets goo!!!

Thank you for emphasizing the urgency and need to work with the kids ministry! Would really want to hear ways on how a church can start working with the youth (which is the next immediate generation). The churches often contain a lot of elders but very little youth. The youth that is present (who are really the grown kids of church families) have little interest and often leave. How does the church work with the youth to get their interest (that they once had a kids in kids ministry), growing in knowing God personally, etc?

Been there, done that. Got the tee shirt. 😔 Great reminder. I think, for me, what helped the most was the Lord leading me into prison chaplaincy for a season. I am back in church ministry now, but as a Chaplain, I learned a LOT! I learned about what was really important, and what was just 'church' important. It gave me a new perspective. Another thing that really helped was finally finding some answers for several health issues I had developed. Deal with your own health and 'problems' so that you're better equipped to deal with others'. Blessings all! 🙏🏻

Thank you for the program gentlemen. Pastor McCarthy from SA, thank God we have a home church with exposure for Children's Church, but religion is a distruction. Four parents and only two children frequently attend without fail, but others are influenced by the community who believes in religion.

It isn't just the children. it's the next generation.

I'm ever thankful for pastor John and his faithful ministry of delivering expository messages. But I'm also broken in my heart to see him aging 😢 I pray God give him long life for the sake of all the Christ followers!

‭‭Luke 10:19 NKJV‬‬ [19] Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. ‭‭Acts 1:8 NKJV‬‬ [8] But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” You need more than theology to fight satan. Your CESSATIONIST stance has doomed you and your followers to a life of oppression. Since by this, your have rejected The Holy Spirit from working thereby dooming even the kids who look up to us as the light of the world. I speak out of great concern for the future generation. What Chhristianity are we going to leave them in? A powerless story only dead church or one with actual life by The Holy Spirit so as to contend against the terrible darkness that will only multiply.

The most difficult part of sanctification for me so far has been learning to find joy in the things of God and completely abolish hedonism as a means of happiness and escape. If Christ didn't hold me, I would still be lost. Not that this transition is complete. I'm sure there are things I have not even considered dying to yet. To God be the glory.

This is a great little devotional thought. As a preacher myself, the message really resonates with me. God can use us in our weaknesses. Lol! He HAS to, in my case! But another point, speaking to the 'vibe' of this video, I really like this format. Something about this guy standing up, in a blazer, in kind of a 'preacher's' stance connects with me. For some reason, it makes me pay more attention than I would to say, a dude chatting at a desk with mood lights and potted plants in the background I don't even know why? Am I dating myself, or is, as that great Canadian philosopher and communication specialist, Marshall McLuhan, said, "the medium IS the message." 🤔

There is the biggest attack on the family is the CPS

I am not a pastor but the content of this video is so imperative for believers to discern what satan is doing in today's world which is getting darker and darker. Coming from one of the most faithful and respected men of God, Ps.John makes it more impactful. The ending is truly touching when he says that our triumph may not be in this world but surely is which is authored by the Lord Himself and it is very near. Glory be to God!

In mega churches, and large churches ….children are usually in their own service in another part of the building. I’m familiar with the ones here and the volunteers go through background checks and some leaders have a background in education. Could it be that you or your team didn’t ask the pastor such a curious question while on your visit? Maybe…I’m guessing your visit was not in the United States. I’m happy to learn about being an expository teacher…sounds interesting.

I’ve so enjoyed listening to Pastor MacArthur for a couple of years now. I have so much respect for his truths which are Gods truths….
