Love the vids, the music and you. Saw Return to Forever mid 70's and realizing "These guys can play anything (underlined)". Wish I could do a vulcan mind meld so could climb inside your head and observe just how that prodigious talent processes reality. I play guitar and get tons of inspiration, ideas from you. Some friends of mine who play from time to time think "why even try?". It's not a competition.... no one can play like me (may be a blessing...) Cheers

Me: that's actually one of the easier phrases in this piece. There are some really odd grouping transitions, phrasings, and harmonies in this piece. But this one is great for technique development
This is for me also the hardest part because of the (for my hands) unnatural arpeggios and the interval at the beginning of that section. It was really hard to keep that rythm and flow even at this point.
@@brunopianodude9938 hm the part with the unison section I find the hardest, especially to get it to sound tight and the accents in the right places. Fingering that "hardest part" section as 1-2-4 works for me though it takes work to hit everything precise (which is kind of true for this piece in general)
I newer thought this guy has to practice anything. anytime I saw him playing it seemed as if he was born to flawlessly play all that shit!

They were written in the spirit of the playfulness and creativity of children. Not for children to play.
Lot of muscle and tendons going up to the elbows.
