"improving" execution is always going to come down to intention-if you set goals specific motion, hand+finger position, speed, angle, etc., all these specific things add up to "execution." I've found that practicing these things WITH SPECIFIC INTENTION on lighter mods in order to tighten up your margin of error for timing or positioning can sometimes help you gain consistency on larger mods-or be able to focus on finer details once the main mechanics are dialed in.
That said, just spinning light mods will do nothing for execution on its own. If you're not working toward specific rotations, movements, and positions, then all your exec issues will probably be the same when you return to other mods
