    My 2016 gets the most regular use of all my HPG. I use mine as a satchel for the most part. Holds my NAR trauma kit, ITS Boo Boo kit, and sometimes a book, Bible, and/or notebook. I like that it’s more of an outdoor looking bag than a tactical one.
    Those side straps to cinch the load down make a significant difference. Bringing the load close in to your bag really improves how the load carries on the belt. Forgot to grab them last weekend when I left out of town. Took a hike and wished I had them, although it wasn’t bad. Still noticeable. I’ve yet to top mount it to a pack.

    Thank you so much! I just got mine today and you taught me how to cinch the belt down with those two extra cords on the side - or the pack WAS sliding around and I was just about to return it. Didn't even notice them and I couldn't figure out where they go. Super helpful. I wish you could have put it on and then shown how to use features/straps. That would have been really helpful. I don't understand what some of the straps do or are meant for. Will likely need to buy some strap keepers. Lots of straps! Or maybe they can be tucked away? I bought the Junction and Tara to try but they don't offer enough support for my back. I really wanted the Umlindi but they thought it was too big. This seems like a great way to go for my hikes. I haven't been able to find a backpack that fits me. This was the suggestion of HPG. They were right!....P.S. Where can I get the seating pads shown at the end and what are they called (on top of pack)?

    I would love to see what you keep in the different pouches.

      Hey brother, I really appreciate the comment! If you follow my instagram, SRK Survival, you will see the different items I tend to store in the pouches. A short list of my go to's: in one of the GP pouches I generally carry a SOL 2 person emergency blanket w/ my own survival kit that I put together . In the other GP pouch I like to carry a few clif bars as well as my battery pack for my camera/phone. The buttpack sadly doesn't get used enough but if I am just rocking the LBE I would carry my arcteryx rain jacket, cold weather gloves and hat (in winter), first aid kit, and toaks 450 ml titanium mug w/ backpacking stove inside a s well as a small canister of fuel. In my Hill People Gear Original Kitbag v2 I carry my map, compass, glock 19 and extra mag, gel energy shots x2, signaling panel, phone, and lighter. All of that being said, those items get switched out on occasion and gear lists change depending on where I am going, how long I will be out, and what the weather looks like. I hope that helps! Again, thanks for supporting the page and I hope you enjoy the content that we are putting out!

    How do you keep the belt and butt pack from sliding up or down while you hike?

    • @AdaptorDieChannel
      @AdaptorDieChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I generally don’t use it anymore while hiking. I have set it up as a set of load bearing equipment for military type stuff. With that being said, it didn’t move around at all. The belt locked in around my lumbar and was good to go. I loved it.

    @SRK Anyway to wear this pack on chest (front) like a bigger Hill people V2 chest bag?

    • @AdaptorDieChannel
      @AdaptorDieChannel  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have never tried to do that and would not recommend it. If you really want a larger chest rig from them I recommend the recon kit bag. It is huge.

      @@AdaptorDieChannel I found recon really small, regular kit bag is a tad bigger, but also small for me.

    Belt size? 27+, 33+ or 36+?

    • @AdaptorDieChannel
      @AdaptorDieChannel  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I want to say its a 33+ since I am a 34" waist typically. I have about an inch or so of play on each side of the buckle once its cinched down completely while wearing the pack.
