- Hey Peeps! That is all of the dresses I own sorted through and cleared out! I genuinely thought there were more knit dresses but I did have a little clear out about this time last year of the ones that really were the wrong colours for me ..... must have let go of more then than I realised! I do love everything I have left and even if the colours aren't quite perfect for me I think I can make them work and they make me so happy when I put them on that, to me, it's worth keeping them!

You've got more willpower than I do. All of those dresses were gorgeous. I would have a hard time getting rid of any of them. Having said that, I do understand your reasoning for getting rid of the ones you chose. I absolutely love the bright colors of the dresses that you chose to keep for the V8972.
And I agree, if it doesn't make you happy wearing it, then it's time to let it go.

That was fun. Maybe you need a sewing apron. Sort of workman style with lots of convenient pockets and a quilted area where you lean on the cutting table. It would prevent some of the pilling!

Woohoo! You are clearing out and I am finally ready to start adding to mine. I finished the moulage class and this week I take a class to use a slower to adjust my patterns. Also need to draft another moulage to use to fit my knit shell pattern. I want to sew blouses this winter and maybe later this winter draft a skirt slopes. Kitty IS helping. She was telling you that when you picked her up, lol!

Hi, If you're into colour season and stuff and you're hair are natural dark, try watching style me jenn video about colour analysis (title: confused about seasonal colours?)
There're three essential features of which the colour season consists: value, temperature and contrast if im correct
And in that video she explains that for each type of colour season there's a dominant feature you should definitely think about when you making you wardrobe and the other two are not that important
So, for example, if you bright spring - you should focus more on the contrast of the colour than the value and can wear things that are on the cooler side, like blues, if they are bright enough
In my mind because you have a good contrast in your features, it's ok to have black clothes like the lemon dress, even if you're spring, because it matches your hair pretty well and is cohesive
but light coloured clothes don't have much contrast and it looks rather simple on you
It's just my opinion and colour season is interpreted in various ways these days, but i personally like to stick to the colour property more than a given colour palette, because it's all a spectrum and some colours can be not good for you personally even if they're on a palette but may be excellent on the other spring and vice versa
