Glad I got my Badlands SAS 2.7 Lux w/tow way back in Nov ‘21. 18,000 miles later and still loving it.
Does it have a front locker? If not, it's not a Sasquatch. Does it have 4.70:1 gears? No, not a Sasquatch. Does it have the Advanced 4x4 transfer case? The lift is NOT the biggest difference, it's the least of the differences. Base, Big Bend - no advanced 4x4 without Sasquatch. The only real option that's even close is the Badlands without Sasquatch - that's not the inexpensive option by any stretch. Ford blew 2023 like an adult video star! Still have the issue with the steering rack, which is a bigger issue than the tie rods, Badlands won't help you there.
I’ve heard nothing but challenges even making the concessions. I let my preorder refund because I’m not spending that much money and not getting what I want.
Thanks to your heads up about which options to avoid, I ordered my 2022 Non Sas 4dr Hardtop 2.7 Badlands with HD bumper in August 2022 and a mid package. It was delivered within 90 days and since it freed up some budget, I got a nice 2 inch lift, winch, Led bar and fog lights, wheels and 35s.

Correct. Ford didn’t kill it completely. They stated, “if your Bronco has the Sasquatch package, it is very likely that your Bronco won’t get scheduled as a 2023 model year.” But that doesn’t look good in a TH-cam Title. 🤷🏻♂️😂

I got my letter the other day. It actually will work out better. Doing aftermarket upgrades. So it’s a blessing in disguise

'If you only care about mall crawler looks, we have the package for you!'. Guys, the gearing, lockers, t-case is the real value here. This is not a Sasquatch replacement. Call it the Glamsquatch package or something more appropriate.
I prefer the later the sasquatch wheels and tires are hideous,for gearing you just add the 4.27gear w rear locker$795 just took delivery ok my 2nd bronco by ordering what's available...

We got a 2023 Base 2 door with the Sasquatch.
I watched another video that said the tires were the biggest problem with the sasquatch package. Ford didn't want wrangler on the tire and that puts a big constraint on them. If thats the case why cant ford go with a different tire or have an option for a different 35in tire?
My steering rack is working like its 10 years old. It's a problem. Also likely won't be covered because my vehicle is lifted and 37" tires. I was temporarily stranded on a 9/10 trail because my steering rack overheated and gave out. No dash lights - didn't figure out the problem until I got home and pulled codes. Sure enough, steering box temp warning. Since then, motor has felt weak and it's not perfectly returning to center every time. Still tracks fine and handles well enough on the blacktop but I no longer trust it off-road. I won't be doing any rock crawling until I find an aftermarket solution for sure.
If it happens to you - turn the Bronco off, open the door to start the full power off cycle, close the door and start your Bronco. You will have power steering back but you should still let it cool down before carrying on.
I feel very fortunate now to have received my Wildtrack with hardtop and Lux. That being said I have found that my wife and I shall be in your area in March to watch our son compete at indoor track Nationals. Might just have to see for myself that Mitch is his proclaimed 6’ 3”.

I sold the 'aesthetics' of the sasquatch package. Replaced a stronger suspension, tie rods, and Mickey Thompson boss tires. The folks who bought from me were non sasquatch looking to upgrade their base.

How many times will FORD disappoint you if your buying a Bronco? They rushed production of the Bronco all to do something they failed too do take on the Jeep! Epic fail! I am so happy I decided on another Wrangler. OK it's a 392. Before you say bad things about me i have owned FORDS, I'm just sick of people making excuses for FORD on the Bronco
I received my confirmation date the day before I received the release. Ford’s change order request of reducing the Sasquatch package,lux and hard top. 😁. My build date is 2/20/23.
SelfSquatch is the way to go! I started off with a 2 door manual badlands. Added 5 inch lift, offset weels, 37 inch Toyo MT Tires, hidden winch and a few other things and was still under what I would of paid for Sasquatch.

OK but the lift doesn't Make it like a Like a Sasquatch. you're only talking about height. Sasquatch comes with other things like the stay bar the front and rear locker's and the different transfer case.

Just picked up an ordered 23 badlands Sasquatch lux hard top. Had to skip the bumper. Guess I got lucky.
Well, my 21 Sep 2022 order went in and I'm willing to wait and wait, etc., to get the Bronco on my 2023 build sheet. Yesterday, saw a TH-cam post from a new Bronco owner who just had to wait some 700 days for his rig.

Not everybody is gonna be able to afford to put these parts on their Bronco after buying the Bronco. Getting it from Ford with the sasquatch package and all the options up front means it all gets rolled into the financing and you don't have to pay a separate bill for all the other parts that way when you get your Bronco it's basically ready to go. Also, going with aftermarket parts now changes the warranty and what is covered. And the badlands is one of the more expensive Broncos, but if you got a base model with the Sasquatch package, you still get the gear ratio, and you still get the lockers. I hope Ford can get the parts they need to be able to satisfy their customers.
I could be mistaken, but I’m pretty sure if TC customs installs the add-ons it’s covered…

Most of our customers roll the aftermarket parts into their financing. All of these parts we installed do not void any warranty

Mitchell, either you need to change this video or talk to your salesmen at Town and Country. I reserved a 2 door Badlands with T&C in July 2020. I was just told by one of your salesmen that if I don't switch from a 2-door to a 4-door with soft-top, I will get nothing. Essentially, he told me -- and he said you personally confirmed -- that while 2-door reservation holders can qualify for the 2,500 by dropping the lux and Sasq. and keep the hardtop, there is no chance even reservation holders from 7-2020 are getting ANY 2-door.
I ordered my bronco 2 years ago and took delivery feb 18th! I guess I really lucked out getting a 2023 Sasquatch 2 door

Wish they would offer the base bronco with front/rear locker with no Sasquatch,,
Sasquatch is for the lockers mainly in my opinion also auto 4x4 and suspension is nice but secondary, and not it's not just a lift but better suspension I always thought. I can't afford a badlands I did a base with sasquatch package. Is this to catch up or forever? This sucks if forever. You cant get a front locker aftermarket and a badlands is like $5,500 more than a base with sasquatch right now not even a while ago.
advanced 4x4 with rear locker all you need for 99% of bronco drivers imo. if ford is smart they should offer dealer upgrade for front locker and sb disconnect at reasonable price and give those that originally wanted it a chance to add them on down the road without feeling ripped off.
You’re voiding the factory warranty. The Dana M190 cannot handle the 35” tires. Also there are videos of people who destroyed their transfer case and snapped their tie rods. See “Bronc Buster and Dana-Spicer adding HD parts for your off-road adventure Ford Bronco.
I am confused. I didn't think I bought the sasquatch because of the height. I thought I bought it for the front and rear lockers as well as the stay bar. 🤔
All of those options are standard on the Badlands 🤷♂️
Correct but I thought there were extras of some sort that came with the badlands and adding the sasquatch pkg gave me more options than just sasquatch only. I will have to look at it again apparently I've forgotten what the differences are.
Even if you have the Badlands you will lose the 4.7 gearing , the wider flares , slight lift (level kit) , the larger tires/wheels , the factory warranty on those parts and the little squatch in the fender emblem :)

Am I correct in saying that with the Badlands the only things you’re getting with the Sasquatch package are the lift, wheels, tires, and 4.7 gear ratio since the front and rear lockers are standard? And if that’s the case, would the different gear ratio be a big deal if you lifted it and put on bigger wheels and tires yourself?

The rear locker is the only thing I wanted for my base. I do have the 7 speed. 4.46 gears looking at the fab tech coil over and 37. With Detroit true track limited slip in the front and rear. My wife has the black diamond mid package with the 10 speed I put 35s on it . I need to put a 2 in ome lift on hers.
Do you think 37inch tires would work on the 3.73 gears just fine? Light off road nothing crazy, or would it be dumb unless you have 4.27 or 4.7?
Correction with the Badlands you can only get a rear locking differential not the front. I still believe that for the average non off road person the Badlands is plenty especially with lift from TC Customs!

how much mpg you get after all those upgrade? Only asking because when you hit the off roads going to suck only getting 12 mpg.

Does the $2500 offer by Ford also apply for any *new* orders placed once their order banks open on March 27th? I'm working with my dealership here in Sacramento to place an order for a 2023 Badlands with Sasquatch, Lux, & Towing packages (all of which are currently the big no-no's from Ford).
Also, roughly speaking, how much would an equivalent aftermarket upgrade be if people take off Sasquatch but want to get an equivalent lift/suspension/wheels/tires on their Broncos?

The $2500 is only for current order holders with those items on the order as of now. Cost of lift, wheels, and tires varies on what parts you go with so it is hard to say
Mine is being built with the Sasquach package, Lux package, and hard top, dud they change this at some point? I never got an email or a letter for this lol
My 2023 4 Door badlands came in last week, i was supposed to be sasquatched and it wasnt.... i cant find a 2-3 inch lift for a regular badlands bronco, please help! all the lifts i find say (w/ sas package) ive been looking everywhere for one.

In fact, if you told me that I just somehow won that givewaway Bronco, I'd probably tell you that you can give it to the next guy in line. We'll be mall crawling, and getting home if it snows. Ford really screwed the pooch on this bronco roll out. Even Jeep came out with with the extreme recon edition with 35’s and they don’t have issues. On the other hand ford sees there are aftermarket suspension options now and really don’t have to worry about tbt Sasquatch package anymore.

Check again my man. Extreme recon was suspended a few months ago. Jeep can’t build those either 😂
The Bronco is no longer in the “roll out” phase. It’s in its third model year of production.

Ford keeps jacking up Bronco prices and dealerships are still marking up their inventory. That’s too much money to have to settle. A discount used to be offered to get less than what you want. Now you pay for the privilege to get half.

NO! NO! NO! You put a 6 inch lift on it and a super-heavy-duty version of the LiquidSpring Smart Suspension (Look it up!) on it AND some 40 inch Mickey Thompson Baja Pro XS tires on it! Then you add heavy duty front and rear bumpers WITH FULL-WIDTH and FULL-HEIGHT BUSH BARS front and back AND 20,000 Lbs WARN winches front and rear! The front and rear bumpers should have Bright White AND RED nightvision LED fog-lamps so you preserve your eyesight at night when driving. Use 3rd party rear and front electronically controlled and in-cabin disconnectable lockers and swaybars and add full-length underbody Titanium skidplates! Add a 3rd party ECU (Engine Control Unit) that has built-in in-cabin-selectable custom GOAT (Go Anywhere Any Time) modes that will automatically control the gas pedal, wheels, brakes to ensure ALL sorts of DEEEEEEP sand, mud, rain, snow, ice, rock, gravel and paved road can be traversed with ease at the mere touch of a button!
Add a lockable swingout protective cage on the back that can carry TWO 20 Gallon Jerry Cans of fuel, two 20 gallon water cans and a 40 lbs Propane tank for your portable BBQ and high-end double-wall-insulated winter hot tent and Space Heaters.
Add a rootop combined carrying cage and lifting tent system for carrying all your extra gear on the roof. Install an in-cabin front-console-mounted Getac IP-69/MilSpec-810K ruggedized laptop with an SDR (Software Defined Radio) package that has a combined long range VHF/GPRS/GMRS/UHF/Shortwave/AM/FM/CB/Iridium Satellite Phone radio communications package along with two 20 foot long collapsible radio antennas mounted on the roof but which can collapse down into the roof cage when not needed.
The rooftop cage should have multiple Sony A7s3 Cameras with 18 mm wide-field-of-view prime lenses pointing front, rear, left, right and skyward all running at 4K resolution 60 FPS frame rate recording to TWO 20 Terabyte Harddrives using H.265 video file formats. Pointing frontwards on the rooftop cage should be an in-cabin user-selectable-modes bright white and infrared 100,000 lumens LED lightbar that can be used daytime or night offroad. The bright white is normal optical band driving compatible or used during campsite/worksite illumination use while the tri-band infrared LEDs work for thermal nightvision cameras of which the Sony A7s3 can work wonders for if you remove its Infrared filters so you can see EVERYTHING perfectly 500 metres or 1500 feet forward in complete darkness!
For the underbody cameras, use FOUR GoPro Hero 10 cameras one pointing forward at a downwards angle, rearwards at a downwards angle and both sides at a downwards angle so you can see and/or avoid upcoming severe terrain. All cameras video are sent to an 8-way camera switcher which shows all cameras on the front-console mounted GETAC laptop touchscreen which allows you to tap on the desired camera to show it full-screen when desired AND recorded at full resolution to the two 20 TB USB portable hard drives!
In the back of the Bronco, add a built-in Inex multi-stage Li-Ion 5000 Watt powerpack with multiple roll-up 400 watt solar panels to charge and power all your goods you normally carry in the back such as portable coffee maker/espresso machine, portable microwave oven, Instapot, portable 200 litre combo fridge/freezer, micron-level water filtration unit and ocean salt water desalinator unit with 500 feet of water uptake hose on a portable reel, portable on-demand hot water heater, full Coleman Kitchen setup with collapsible table, hot-water sink, extra shelving, propane stove, portable shower tent, portable toilet and privacy tent, inflatable beds and couches plus a lockable pullout system to carry all your other camping/fishing/hunting gear and freeze-dried/MRE camp food AND a place to store your inflatable kayak or canoe and collapsible EV mountain bike and/or 4-wheel 4x4 offroad EV scooter with the M/T tires on it!
NOW you have a PROPER high-end Ford Bronco Sasquatch edition equivalent that is fully able to do deep backwoods overlanding/boondocking for six months at a time on rugged country off-roads in Western Canada, Alaska and Montana/PNW!

I love my manual sasquatch. And I use it for what it's for. I do have a question.. is there a better tune then the ford racing one?
