Great content you’re putting out for this game. Hoping to see a “best utility” or like “best battery” video. Really liking these team comp videos too. Maybe like a couple more targeted tier list videos could be interesting, as well. Something like a fresh save list, new game+ hard list (think thats what your current list is), deathless new game+ hard list. Keep em coming, man!

Yeah I’m not sure what “series” the video I’m thinking of would fit best into, or if it even needs to but maybe like an “is x good” or “best x” where you discuss tp manipulation/batteries as a concept. Like when and why is tp control good and different use cases and strengths/weaknesses of different tp manipulation abilities and battery characters. Not a video where you tell us that medina is best battery or that tp control is strong. Your perspective and analysis on different game concepts is always interesting and helpful and I know you talk a lot about battery and tp across your videos but a dedicated one for tp manipulation and maybe turn manipulation could be interesting. Just a thought. Anyway, keep cranking out that quality content!
I did find a fun thing to do with Anna on new game plus is to use her stealth once you know where enemies are going to spawn reinforcements from is to play peek a boo with the AI. You have her stand on a tile where she won't be attacked and 9/ 10 times the AI will go for her so then what you do is just either back up out of range or get as far away as you can and go into stealth again. This tends to trick the AI alot and you can essentially take a flank of reinforcements waste turns playing peek a boo with Anna

Honestly the easiest way to level up underleveled units is have them use items on themselves or other units on highest level mock battle, spam twofold turn, in tandem, now, fast acting medication
I'm midway through the game on my first playthrough, but I'm still having a hard time trying to figure out who to pick for what situation, so this was pretty helpful. As far as "Recommended" units the game tells you, did you find that these units were the right recommendations?

I had a similar team for my first playthrough, but I had Erador, Picoletta, and Trish instead of Hughette, Milo, and Medina. I removed Ezana in the last few chapters because Frederica couldn't get her max damage in rain.
@@K2Para i knew frederica wasnt going to deal her max damage but i gave two accesories that increase her magic by 5 each so she was still hitting very hard
I always come away from your videos feeling like I learned a lot and have tons of great new ideas to try, but often when I get to actually playing the game I just don’t seem to have the success I had envisioned. Do you have any general tips for someone trying to make the jump from a casual player to being better at grasping and thinking out advanced strategies? For example, I’m on my first NG+ run and the level 43 mock battle seems literally impossible to me on normal mode.
@@IcedCoffeeGaming I’m sorry; I didn’t realize there were different mock mission paths or whatever. It’s the map where you start out in the middle on low ground and enemies have you surrounded on 3 sides, all with high ground. There are 2 bosses: “Assassin” and “Mercenary”. After all reinforcements there are around 25 enemies, possibly more since I have yet to survive long enough to find out, and there is a time limit of 100 turns to win.
I think I know what map this is on, if it is the canyon map this strategy works, you can retreat and wrap around the south/left highground then engage enemies on your terms. th-cam.com/video/rLzQ2EtRKXI/w-d-xo.html
That is the correct map. I’ve been hesitant to even attempt a defensive, drawn-out strategy due to how many enemies there are coupled with the turn limit. There are also several hawk rider enemies that make retreating and holding the high ground difficult. I’ll give it a shot, though. Thanks for your time and attention.
The only issue I have with ur guide. I understand your showing categories. But ur not showing actually group make up look like and reason. U could also show a chart and reason as well. Thanks for guides anyway

It is listed when you try to use it on an enemy it will say off to the side. I have most of them memorized from doing unit guides :)

i beat the game three hours ago and my party was seronoa benedict frederica ezana geela medina narve hughette ana hughette lionel rudolph and milo

Can you elaborate on that mission? I might have a different lv 43 mock battle than you from being NG++.

You also start further back in that mock battle, so there’s less room to retreat.
How did you unlock these mental battles?

It might be NG++, I didn't pay too much attention to mock battles throughout my playthroughs so it might be level 50 NG+
