    What's the difference between that Stockpad and the Vic Firth Soft Grey in terms of feel and rebound?

      id say the heavy hitter trains you more because it has less rebound, and the vic first soft grey is to warm up and practice with somewhat of a real feeling pad.

    too loud and sounds bad and you always feel the solid wood beneath the pad while playing. ı dont understand why theese pads are popular that much.

      The purpose of that pad is to be heard loudly, because it is designed for people who practice marching outdoors
