This is one of the best metal albums I have ever heard. Fun story: I asked my three and a half year old son if we should listen to Iron Maiden or Diamond Head. He said DAPES. We should listen to Dapes. Ok, I put on Diamond Head and said "this is Dapes". Soon all NWOBHM became known as Dapes. At some point I played Serpent Storm several times a day. My son asked to hear Dapes one day and I put on Witchfinder General. NO! That was the wrong Dapes! Ok, so I knew he wanted to hear Armagh, and I put on Woman from the Hills, and he immediately started rocking. So from then on Dapes has been Armagh. That´s his favourite song. My favourite songs are Woman from the Hills, Mhacha´s Height, Flattened Rats and Death Is Near, but the whole album is amazing. And now we can´t wait to hear the next Dapes album!!!!
Kurde przydałyby się teksty piosenek na Tekstowo czy gdzieś, bo nie mogę znaleźć, a bym sobie przetłumaczył. Ze słuchu nie poradzę. Świetna płyta, a kolejna też sztos
Nie wiem, na ile to trafne domysły, ale słyszę tu osłuchanie z klasyką "epickiej" sceny (i oczywiście brytyjskie kapele) . Tym bardziej cieszy, że czuć tu własny styl, nie rżnięcie z Omen albo Manilii. Perfekcyjnie w moim guście Jedna z lepszych płyt z naszego kraju.
Powiem tak gdyby to było w wersji polskiej.. Z mniejszą ilością reverbu, pogłosu, vocal trochę wycofać.. Ogólnie brzmienie osuszyć. Powiem to jest to najlepszy polski materiał heavy metal od lat 80..Slychac že tě numery można zagrać przy ognisku na akustyku i oto chodzi. Wszystkie partie są udane, możecie być dumni. Podoba mi się że przewijaćie różne inspiracje punkowe, trashowe, epic, black owe, heavy hard rockowe.. Vokalista kuźwa skarb.. Robi klimat.. Inspiracje czuje Angel Witch, Raven,Heavy load, Venom i trochę iron ów scenę epic power USA plus lata 70. Vokalista jest taki, że nie mogę go złapać.. Black Widow ocultic band z 60 lat plus Glen Danzing. Mo. Są kawałki ze czuć Sabbath vol4, Sabbath bloddy Sabbath.. Trochę czuć melodií celtyckiego folku, Southnerowe klimaty.. A nawet chwilami no nie wiem.. Polecam wam posłuchać Gentle giant, Lucifer friends, May Blitz, Room Pre Flight 1970..stare bandy. Powinniście dodać czasami hsmmondy, skrzypce, flet Sax.. Ale macie wizję.. Inne projekty też Oki.. Próbujcie coś nagrać po hiszpańsku. Taką muze Latynosi kochają. Reasumując jestem zazdrosny, ale lekko też oczarowany.. Best album of 2022, nothing compares. Earworm riffs, an epic melancholy vocal tone, incredible black metal sections. Absolute masterpiece.
