Ohhhhh, to love, to touch and stroke, to be nuzzled by babies with their sweet heads tilted to one side and eyes blinking at you with love!!! Is there anything more dear, more precious? 🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊
My son is expecting a chick soon. I can't wait to be a grandmother again. I love squabs. Cutest thing and these babies (im sure are adults now) are so cute! 😍😍
Salem Xhalo I never had a pet that actually had fur or feathers. I only have 2 mini pufferfishes and 5 small hermit crabs. My parents say having a bird needs a lot of care. AND, of course, they said that it is expensive. Their favorite word. I want a bird because I could take care of it. It is very fun to take care of animals.
@@lulzBrownie you should have released him. You know better than to keep wild animals as a pets. Be responsible towards the nature. And don't tell me it is too tame to be released because you should have raised is with minimal contact, hidden face and no talking and all the low imprint that would build up would break few days after the release. You also provide natural foods during hand rearing. I do wild bird rescue and have hand raised and successfully released probably hundred of them.
@@DuneDemon8 how about you read up on how invasive the house sparrows are in america first, then you'll know better than to release those destructive pests back into the wild
@@lulzBrownie I am quite surprised you have a bird at your home and you describe it as a destructive pest. Also Passer domesticus is LC on IUCN red list but with a trend decreasing, meaning soon it will not be looked at as an invasive species any more. Trends change and the only invasive and destructive species I know is Homo sapiens.
How do you get your sparrow to not have constant rage? Mine wants to peck the heck out of me most of them time. He used to be very sweet before he hit maturity, now he is very territorial and always looking to nest and sees me as a rival and potential mate at the same time.
Hi please I found few days ago baby pigeon I feed him exract formula he is like 10 days or more when and what food I should feed him and what the best way?
you can raise him by feeding him warm peas. i get frozen bags of green peas, microwave them submerged in a tiny bowl of water for about 10-15 seconds and pop them into their mouth. be sure the peas aren't too hot or cold, it should be warm enough to hold comfortably in your fingers
sorry i don't have any experience with weaning them on my own yet, i let the parents take care of them through adulthood, i just played with them a lot while they were babies and still grew close to me, i'd love to handfeed the babies myself one day
I have 1 bird. I rescued a baby mourning dove in March. He's all grown up now. I take him outside so he can fly and be with the other doves but he likes to come back inside the house when he's done and tired. I use to have a pigeon my brother brought home from his work. I had her for 10 years but she passed away. So now I have a real love for pigeon's and dove's. :) My neighbor has a bunch of chicken's , do they count? lol.
How do you get your doves to be soo tame? What am I doing wrong with mines? Im confuse? They don't want me touching them? And when they make chicks? The chicks don't even want to see my hand? Btw your doves are hella adorable
Alibaba Telfer my first dove was already tame when i got him so he was chill with me touching his babies, the mother didn't like me though. handle the baby doves and they'll grow to be tame with you, just dont disturb the parents too much
lulzBrownie thats exactly how my mother dove treats me, but the father is normal but the chicks nope, they flick up their wings and move away, even though I pet and touch them when the parents go to feed, I did that even when they were now opening their eyes. Thqnks for replying
Alibaba Telfer hmm that's strange they do that if you've been petting them since they opened their eyes.... try to keep handling them and offer food when they try to eat on their own
lulzBrownie Thanks for the info, They eat from my hand but when im bringing up one of my finger they act like "nope, im leaving" XD but I'll keep trying Thanks, awesome videos
@@andrewlorente8483 these doves don't live in the wild, but age-wise does it look similar to the ones in this video, pins or feathers? if so you can feed it peas. i put frozen peas into a bowl with water and heat them up for about 30 or so seconds, make sure the pea is completely warm all the way through, not too hot or cold. carefully pry the mouth of the bird open and pop a pea into their mouth, you should be able to see the moment of the pea make its way downward to the crop. watch that for each individual pea as you feed it so there's no blockage. as for how much to feed them can be tricky because they'll still beg for food even after their crop is full, if you feed them too much it'll be slow to empty and that could cause fatal problems.

Abdulwahab Khan parakeet mix, pigeon/dove mix, safflower seeds
How'd you get a tame house sparrow? They are always near me when I'm outside and eating but when I move, they always fly away
MrRalphwiggam raised him from a baby

They're cute 😍 are they living now?
Probably yes, birds live for a very long time. In the case of doves, they live longer than cats and dogs.

Now I need to punch a kitten to feel manly again...
Omg I found some dove eggs outside sadly I couldn’t find any wildlife rehabilitation center near me so I’m doing a bunch of research
Oh shot buy an incubator for sure
No need for a wild life place
Go to a petco and buy baby food
For birds ask if they have baby bird formula it's an easy blend
Most likely the baby birds will imprint on you fast and only call you for to feed them
Que lindos mancinhos
