By watching this it gives me mories of the day i saved a pigeon in my aunts backyard. The bird had one of its wing bone broken, and was hiding behind the clothes washer. I took it out and told my aunt to hurry to the vet. My mom was horrorized at me holding the bleeding pigeon, but still, she let me go. Nowadays i still think the pigeon was hurt by a cat or something. I like to think that the tiny pigeon is out there living their best life with its friends.
Hey now... Pet rats are very sweet and intelligent. Rats are social creatures who form strong and deep bonds with their owners. Three of my four shower me with kisses and love cuddling. The only reason why My one don't is because he's a half wild baby I'm currently taming and even he's a sweet boy. My one rat got out and came to me when I called his name. Rats are amazing and if anything are literally personality wise like dogs if they groomed themselves non-stop like cats.

If it's not money and perks or some kind of ego stroke, it's a desire to shove people around. Humane, decent people don't want a job like that.The lessons learned on the school yard as little kids carry over into the adult world. Mean assholes who can terrorize the faint hearted will ascend and stay there until somebody gets fed up and takes them down. It's brutal and it's savage no matter how nice of a suit or how shiny the shoes. All this was fine up until August 6, 1945. Before that, the damage they did with the wars was limited and fixable. Now we have nukes, bio, chemical, and space based weapons systems. The days of horses and swords are over. This means that we have to grow up, drop the macho bullshit and begin treating each other decently. This includes the critters. If you say "That's never gonna happen" then it's gonna be over soon. The demented lunatics who run this world will push the button and this Earth becomes another asteroid belt. I say the root cause of most of our troubles is the hard heart that kills and says "I don't care"
@@valentds I don't see why parents treat birds the same as dogs. Birds are more emotionally stable and the only thing you need to worry about for the majority of time is noise. But, this is a big but, birds can be expensive as hell. My tiels alone took about a 1000 dollar dent in my wallet. Don't forget the vet Bill's and constant treats and replacement of toys

Pigeons. Pigeons are very cute birds that have lots of different feathers. people think they are dumb birds who just poop everywhere..... But.. There wrong they are very sweet and can be scared easily but if u were to feed one they would stay with you and eat and then fly away. But the are adorable 🙂

@@ramachatterjee4189 That's true. I think owning two pairs of doves should be an easy start out to have. I was thinking of getting 2 baby collard doves and learn how to hand feed them. Later on, get two comnon pigeons and a last two wood pigoens.
Awe this reminds me of my pet pigeon. She would make the same noises and would like putting her head through a little circle made between my thumb and index finger. Boy she was a sweet, caring, special, kind bird. I miss her with all my heart. Thank you for this sweet video! 💙

Yesterday after work I found a badly hurt pigeon and didn't want to leave it. My husband called taxi and we got him to the vet. He said it could survive. It was staying in apartment for the night. Today my husband called the animal saving station and we took it there. They don't know if it can be saved, but they will see. Professional help is better. I hope they will help it so it can fly and go back to real life. In Austria they are forbidden as pets.
@@GodisMyNo1 Thank you for asking. It didn't. One wing was torn off and it had extremely deep wounds. My husband called them, they told they couldn't stop the infection, but for the pigeon it was like peacefully falling asleep, they said.

I love how pidge is being so vocal without going to parrot or cockatoo (i.e., jet takeoff 🛫) volume.
Compared to parrots, pigeons are very quiet! They do still make noise, but it's mostly cooing or these happy grumbles. :D

Well, I think seeds are better because bread sadly doesn't give them nutrition, and bread can also make them starve.
Too much bread is bad for their digestive system.
They go mad for peas and lentils, much better for them (uncooked,naturally)
