Light Sport and Ultralight Flyer from where do you get that info? For me a 4 stroke with 60hp and more torque should be fine because it can drive a better suited prop...
I would like to see more interior shots, especially baggage area. This is important to us bush camp guys. Doesn't look like much baggage space in there.
I have written a program to keep track of the inspection and maintenance requirements on the Challenger. This is a link to a video explaining the software. th-cam.com/video/06IvJpKwa5E/w-d-xo.html
I had a single Challenger Best Flying UL I ever Had Loved it...
One of very few aircraft that include an engine with the kit.
Rather an experimental plane than an experimental yab, for sure.. :)
A Challenger 2 on amphibious floats is about as good as it gets in the experimental home built category. It is the one I plan on purchasing very soon.
The Excalibur would be a better choice.
The Ultralight Flyer
@@ultralightnews Why do you say that?
Im getting nostalgic. When is the video from?
I'm thinking "miles pr gallon". I can afford the plane, but can I afford to fly in Brandon's 2022.?
What’s it like to fly this in the rain? Can you even do that? Can it survive at a tie down ?
I have flown a UL in rain. It was no problem there was no storm just a mild rain i hit on a cross country.
Now install HKS 700E rather than Rotax 582.
The HKS in a two place, loaded, with floats doesn't have the power! The Rotax 582 does!

At least 1 fatal from a failed strut.
