I just love how a single thug can still pose a threat in this show. It just proves how smart the choreography was designed and put into execution. It also enhances the realistic approach to Daredevil's skill set.
One cool thing about this Daredevil is that it's clear he can get tired and injured during the fight -- but because his super senses give him enough advance warning, he can actually relax and almost take a breather during the fight to recuperate his strength since he can react in time to counter his opponents' movements when they do come after him.
+Alex Mounte To bad arrow went to shit....lol But yah the way arrow fights in that alley was fucking amazing but they don't do that anymore so its just a memory now :/
Shield Maker And here comes another guy who disagrees with me. I can't even write a fucking comment without some fucktard disagreeing with me on TH-cam, it gets so fucking annoying.
The way Daredevil tosses his batons around and has them return to him reminds me of Captain America tossing his shield around and having it return to him.
Well, in the comics, the reason how the shield always returns to Cap is because his mind processes information 10x faster than a normal human and he uses Geometry and physics whenever he throws his shield. When you put those two factors together, Cap is capable of thinking about how to hit 5 targets, ricochet off 3 surfaces, and return to him in the span of milliseconds. Which is why you see him executing it so quickly instead of going "Ok, there's three guys right there... I can ricochet it off those three guys and making it rebound off two surfaces on its way back." Hope that helps you understand. As for Daredevil, I have no idea. I have limited knowledge on DD from the comics. Probably because the plot demanded it to lol. That's the only explanation I can think of.
+Honey Badger Actually man, baton throwing is one of DD's signature moves! He does it all the time in the comics. He uses the sound waves with his heighten senses to detect and to measure the distance of his throws. He can bounce his batons from walls and just about anything by using geometry method. His style is very similar to Captain America's. But what gives DD an edge over Capt is that DD can sense his opponent from afar, detecting his location, and able to execute the baton throw, striking his enemy without them even knowing. Elektra, strangely enough can also ricochet her sais off walls, striking her enemy. Kinda never explained that in the comics but I guess is due to her ninja training.
It's supposed to. It's based off the notion that you can throw things at such an angle that they will bounce off multiple surfaces and bounce back somewhere in the same area. It's not because of the weapon (although it should be), it's strength, aim, and math. It's also bullshite, but it looks cool and it's narratively important that the hero gets his special thing back. For Cap, it's a one of a kind special vibranium alloy shield. That's irreplaceable, so it has to come back to him. Same with Matt's billy club. It's also his walking cane, to aid with his secret identity. Anything a hero throws that he needs to get back has to come back to him. Hawkeye doesn't need any individual arrow. Batman doesn't need his bat darts. But his larger batarang was designed like a boomerang, so it does. Otherwise, after a fight, the hero would search the battlefield for his thrown weapons or ammunition. It's narratively convenient physics.
+Stevn Mart I'd like to think it also had something to do with me and my stunt team. Hope all like season 2. But until go see my work in The new Deadpool feature film. Best Philip Silvera

You can't remove too much weight without taking away the authentic look of an actual armored suit. Simply put, no one can move that fast in the batsuit realistically.
+Eric Adrien the mask is actually visible, they modified it. I think maybe the mask itself has eye holes and it's cgied post or its just very transparent

He also can feel better, smell better, etc. It's why he's so freaking agile his coordination is crazy because of his body control. His dad was a boxer and jacked so is Matt. I swear that the first time i watched these show, i fell in love with the fight scenes. Like idk, something inside me woke up and decided right there to learn martial arts inmediately. They are so well done i swear
Daredevil deserves great movie. For your information Daredevil in movie should have (because in comics he has) THE BEST REFLEXES in Marvel world, better than Spiderman, Cap, or who ever. Now dont get me wrong, Spidey and Cap are stronger than him in terms of strength... but his reflexes... man... in comics even Spidey was joking about that in terms that he is the best in that. His fighting skills are like this: HE KNOWS what everyone will do around him 5 moves ahead, like in chess + reflexes at it's best... all this due to his "radar vision", those who read comics knows that he can practically avoid bullet like Neo in Matrix lol, but not because he is fast like Neo, but because he knows It's coming even before someone triggers it. His moves ARE LIKE POETRY, at least they should have been in movies.
techniquerules In Comics he does, because HE SEES EVERYHING AROUND HIM AT SAME TIME, as a BAT.... I don't know what in this show they never shown that vision of his, only that f....ing flame etc... HE SEES EVERYTHING around him as a BAT because waves are hiting the walls from his brain and sending him informations about everyone around him, he knows someone will fire a bullet before bullet comes out, so yes, he has better reflexes than Spiderman or Cap. Ok, maybe equal to spiderman, but better than Cap for sure.
+CroPETROforeverNBA True in the show I never understood how he got toasted by the red ninja guy or was able to get stabbed if he has the sonar ability?
+CroPETROforeverNBA I wouldn't even say he's reflexes are anywhere near Spider-Man due to spider having the whole OP spider sense he can literally slow things down due to how fast he moves when dodging... I would say most likely Cap but that's even pushing it too far
I liked Daredevil before he was cool. Now? This series has truly done it right. These fight scenes, the drama, the conflict and raw mixture of emotions and compelling storyline we get - it's captivating.
+Daydrian Lewis (DAYD111) No he isn't. DD is a normal human. Cap is enhanced and Spidey is a mutated human. He's nowhere near as fast as them, but he's still pretty damn fast.
I always wondered how Daredevil would be able to keep up with Spidey in fights and shit, because Daredevil in live action was slow, but this version shows he could totally keep up, with he webslinger!
+Stevie C I wonder if MCU Peter will delve into creating 'The Way of the Spider' like he did in the comics recently... I'd love to see that, and I'd also love to see Matt and Pete team-up in the MCU someday. :)
+Alex Mounte He just can't; it's PIS. Daredevil has superhuman senses and a Radar Sense. That's it. No stats enhancements of any sort. So he would have pretty impressive but still just regular human reflexes. No way he could react fast enough to counter, let alone take a blow, from Spider-Man. Captain America OTOH can dodge bullets at point-blank range and is durable enough to take a hit from Hulk and not die. Now he'still gets slaughtered but he at least stand a better chance against him.
Daredevil definitely has some of the best fight choreography in the MCU, but for my money nothing beats the fights in Winter Soldier. Hell, that highway fight scene alone is better than ANY fights in ANY super hero movie (marvel, DC, or other) I've ever seen. Makes me even more hyped for Civil War.
I have not seen this show at all . Avid longtime comic collector . Have watched MOST comic tv shows and all of the current ones . Now I know that these are the best bits but puh-leeze they are far and away better than Arrow as much as I like the show . What fight scenes . Thank you Netlflix !
Arrow Season one was badass and Arrow has no have special effects to compete with Flash. They aren't on the same network and DD and don't have the same budget but yeah. DD fights were badass and brutal and very realistic.
Childish Ar I wouldn't even put daredevil in the top 5 of best fighters that in the MCU. Captain America, The Winter soldier, Black Panther, Spider Man, Mystique, Iron Fist, & even Black Widow have all shown to be much better than him in close combat in the MCU. But don't get me wrong because Daredevil is still amazing non the less.
season 2 of Daredevil must be just as good as season 1. It has to be. Elektra and the punisher are going to be joining the cast and things are going to be a lot darker, especially for Karen Page considering that she killed an unarmed man. I'd like to see how things get darker for Matt Murdoch with the arrival of the Punisher. Also I'd like to see more choreographed fight scenes in season 2.
Daredevil is a master of martial arts and a master hand-to-hand combatant. Having been trained by his mentor, Stick, his typical moves are unique blends of the martial arts of Ninjutsu, Aiki Jujutsu, Judo, Karate, Jujutsu, Kung Fu, Silat, Capoeira, Wrestling and Stick Fighting combined with American-style Boxing while making full use of his gymnastic capabilities.
+Philip Silvera I'm really glad to hear it!! I've been a fan of the Punisher for a long time and I'm so looking forward to seeing Jon Bernthal bring him to life :) BTW I looked up your stunt reel on TH-cam and see that you've worked on some of my favorite fights put to screen like the trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins and the cutscene from the Star Wars videogame. I'm a HUGE fan of stage combat and fight choreography so my hat off to you, sir. Loved what you did with Daredevil Season 1. Can't wait for Season 2!!
+Philip Silvera could you describe the difference of fighting styles between daredevil and punisher? :) i know that wilson fisk was like a tank since he relied on his animalistic strength and size but what about frank castle? :)
+thebiggeridiot Philip Silvera would obviously know best, so I'm gonna defer to whatever he says, but I'm guessing if they're gonna use Frank Castle's military background with Marine Corps Force Recon (at least that's what he was in the comics) then they'll use moves from the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program maybe, which I'm really looking forward to seeing going up against Daredevil's martial arts and boxing capabilities. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marine_Corps_Martial_Arts_Program
To me action needs to use proper usage and timing of slow-mo and proper usage of shaky-cam will be great without hurting the overall plot and choreography of combat
+Danza4911 Exactly. People don't know Spider-Man like us two. He's just a teenage kid with no experience, barely eats his carbs, sleep deprived because he lives in New York, and isn't really one for fighting like this. His fighting method is simply moving with his whole body, with basic moves enhanced by his agility, strength, and precognition (spider-sense). He moves in a fight the way he moves throughout the city, almost balletic.
+Rahul Varghese Well, as two people had mentioned here... Peter (for most of his life, and in the movies) isn't as well-versed in Martial Arts as Matt Murdock or Captain America. ...That is, until recently in the comics, when he developed his own unique Martial Art (called: "The Way of the Spider") with the help of Shang-Chi. ((Source: marvel.wikia.com/wiki/Way_of_the_Spider))
This one of marvel's most badass heroes mainly because it shows that he is just a guy in a mask with no powers (heightened senses don't count) but can still put up a good fight.
Heightened senses do count. You can’t say a superpower is invalid just because it isn’t a physical trait. With that logic, mind reading and telepathy aren’t superpowers either then.
HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA! the man doesnt stop. Dude!! i only hear Pow pow arrr arr bamg bamg arr arr pow pow hahahahha. i think DD, Spidy, Black widow, and kind of winter soldier and caps, has shown real fighting moves and action in all comic movies so far. i could name blade but its all almost especial effects based and Man of Steel got one of the best action fight but it lacks on skills. remind me if im forgeting someone.
+3haterz Bales Batmeng suit is very constricting but its heavily armored. I can see DD ripping his balls off as long as gets the hits he needs to get the upperhand.
We all know that. That's what makes Daredevil's story a lot more captivating. He's not Batman; rich with all the cool gadgets and at his peak human shape and mind. Daredevil's just a blind man fighting for justice in his city.
"Daredevil's just a blind man fighting for justice in his city." yeah....no. Daredevil is peak human and a master martial artist. Dont act like he is a normal guy....
"Daredevil's just a blind man fighting for justice in his city." yeah....no. Daredevil is peak human and a master martial artist. Dont act like he is a normal guy....
But he doesn't have the resources or gear to take down such a powerful person in one night. Yes, he has the skills of a ninja, but when it comes to how much he's actually risking and what little he has to use against his enemies...yeah, he's just a small-time neighborhood vigilante. That's why his territory consists of one single neighborhood.

His moves ARE LIKE POETRY, at least they should have been in movies.
he hasnt got faster reflexes then Spider-Man and cap, thats a fact
techniquerules
In Comics he does, because HE SEES EVERYHING AROUND HIM AT SAME TIME, as a BAT....
Definitely Spidey has the upper hand in agility he can do about 20x backflips at once and jump 2 miles
+CroPETROforeverNBA
True in the show I never understood how he got toasted by the red ninja guy or was able to get stabbed if he has the sonar ability?
+CroPETROforeverNBA
I wouldn't even say he's reflexes are anywhere near Spider-Man due to spider having the whole OP spider sense he can literally slow things down due to how fast he moves when dodging... I would say most likely Cap but that's even pushing it too far
I like how everyone he fights is actually competent and he’s not just hitting people who don’t even fight back
I liked Daredevil before he was cool. Now? This series has truly done it right. These fight scenes, the drama, the conflict and raw mixture of emotions and compelling storyline we get - it's captivating.
Man the fights look so well
Dude. Daredevil is such a badass. They should make a Daredevil video game, and I would totally buy it.
My god that was epic.
Him vs captain America would be amazing
+Stefan Roberts To be fair Cap is stronger and more agile. But yet again Spidey is too, in a much greater scale... And he has kept up with him.
The length of these fight scenes would be much shorter if it was cap fighting these goons
+David LS True, but Daredevil has a quicker reaction time making it harder to land a hit on the hornhead.
+Daydrian Lewis (DAYD111) No he isn't. DD is a normal human. Cap is enhanced and Spidey is a mutated human. He's nowhere near as fast as them, but he's still pretty damn fast.
+Daydrian Lewis (DAYD111) Daredevil has quicker reaction time? source please?
I'll miss this show. The casting was excellent
I am agree
I always wondered how Daredevil would be able to keep up with Spidey in fights and shit, because Daredevil in live action was slow, but this version shows he could totally keep up, with he webslinger!
+Stevie C Most of the time when they fight Spidey is never focused and he fights sloppy. When he is focused he wins.
***** I know.
+Stevie C I wonder if MCU Peter will delve into creating 'The Way of the Spider' like he did in the comics recently... I'd love to see that, and I'd also love to see Matt and Pete team-up in the MCU someday. :)
***** The Way of the Spider could happen. Matt and Peter have to team up.
I honestly thought Daredevil's fight with Rance in the rainy alley was the best fight in the entire MCU.
+Scott Peterson I like how you actually bothered to remember the guy's name, lol
+Featherman R I never knew the guy's name. lol
+Conzioco2308 Neither did most of us who watched. I, like most, just simply thought of him as "the hitman sent after Karen."
+AntiTroll1000 I deemed him "that guy that Daredevil beat up".
9:05 was an "Oh Snap!" moment. That ricochet and bullet dodge are classic comic book daredevil type things
One of the best fight choreography I've ever seen
Wow! Thugs that actually try to use their guns!
+LectricSigma(Σ) uunlike arrow
+Timeyin Sholaye They use their guns like clubs in Arrow.
Stabbity Joe Nope that is retarded, they have enough space to shoot and they decide to use their long range weapon as a short range one?
LectricSigma(Σ), yet fail. Because Daredevil is just badass.
Timeyin Sholaye that's because daredevil won't let them have that long range.
daredevil is the best
The fights in this show are on the level of the MCU movie fights. Easily the best choreographed TV show fights I've seen all from one series.
I like how they show him kicking ass in scenes back to back, without wasting time between each scene.
I like how he's kicking so much ass
I hope we see a Daredevil vs Iron fist scene.
yokitron290 Your wish came true in the Defenders. And poor Iron Fist got owned.
Isaac Acevedo I'm a Daredevil fan but Iron Fist would have won if Jessica Jones and Luke Cage didn't stop the fight.
@@youknowwhoiam2771 i prefer daredevil much more than iron fist but they made iron fist too weak comic iron fist wouldve won easily
@@H.K.5 What fight were you watching? Matt was kicking Danny's ass the entire time.
@@Whateveridksomething Wrong. They’ve fought in the comics and the 2 are usually always evenly matched. You underestimate Daredevil.
THIS is how real fight scenes should be made. Gritty and violent while also having a touch of old school kung fu movie glamor
Daredevil's fights were impressive enough to recommend to people to watch. Iron Fist? I tell them not to waste their time.
Amazing character
I love how at 4:17 he drops the mag and throws it
I have not seen this show at all . Avid longtime comic collector . Have watched MOST comic tv shows and all of the current ones . Now I know that these are the best bits but puh-leeze they are far and away better than Arrow as much as I like the show . What fight scenes . Thank you Netlflix !
Yo that is some bad ass fight choreography.
Daredevil, Season 2 - Fight Moves Compilation
I'm just wait for daredevil : born again on Disney+
It won't be the same
Same. I hope it's good
When he flips over the machine gun fire is the best part
better than oliver fucking queen
Arrow needs to take pointers. THIS is how you choreograph fighting. All the fight scenes in Arrow, have no importance, and the sounds are shit
Still better than DK trilogy
Arrow Season one was badass and Arrow has no have special effects to compete with Flash. They aren't on the same network and DD and don't have the same budget but yeah. DD fights were badass and brutal and very realistic.
+Vergil1876
Season 1 and 2 it had good fights
Season 3 - decent
Season 4 - Laughable
+The Darkfrost who do you think would win arrow or daredevil
Daredevil on the mcu of netflix really knows how to kick a lot of ass in the show.
Daredevil has my vote for the best fighter in the MCU
Childish Ar
I wouldn't even put daredevil in the top 5 of best fighters that in the MCU. Captain America, The Winter soldier, Black Panther, Spider Man, Mystique, Iron Fist, & even Black Widow have all shown to be much better than him in close combat in the MCU. But don't get me wrong because Daredevil is still amazing non the less.
now imagine him but with the iron fist, he would be unstoppable lmao
Matt would be a better Iron Fist than the Iron Fist himself
The best and my favourite show of all time
A brutally amazing show; it's sad to know it only has 10 minutes of fight scenes in it.
the best.
2018 tho....cmonnnn
T SMACKS for a new season?
Lugit36 lol yeahh
T SMACKS awww shiiiiiiieeeee
Can't wait for season two.
season 2 of Daredevil must be just as good as season 1.
Daredevil is badass
Fucking awesome!!!
This show is amazing.
badass
I can't believe Netflix cancelled this! It was one of the best shows ever!
Huh, wait until people find out he's blind... they just got their asses kicked by a guy who cant see them
Best video! Please make a part two
Daredevil is a master of martial arts and a master hand-to-hand combatant.
0:33 - 0:37 When you just smoked some dank ass weed and you’re watching some tv but you can’t tell if you’re in the tv or not.
Better choreography than Arrow
Equal now though
No , even more better now.
Ivan Cardenas what arrow? Doubt it
+Carlos Nunez Its great fighting now, equal to daredevil, but not better, just equal.
tauhida ali how equal tho.The camera dude recording the fights is good in daredevil but Bam Bam Bamford in Arrow doesn't use extreme stunts
I love the way he throws stuff to stun his opponents.
All I can say is damn!
Daredevil is now my favorite superhero
So Jhon do you only do superhero fight moves does anything go?
+Darkrai BlueG Depends if its something I've seen that has enough footage for me to use.
+John Nemesis Wolverine fight scenes!!
+John Nemesis Agents of Shield
Toninho Martins I would love to make X-Men videos but Fox is very extreme with its copyright claims/strikes.
+John Nemesis Yeah and people wonder why others are not very quick to upload full episodes of family guy and such.
Daredevil is tooooo dope. He’s like a blind Batman.
May I put in a request for a collection of Punisher fight moves after Daredevil Season 2 comes out? :)
I think you can expect something very awesome from the punisher in season 2. We did some amazing things with Jon Bernthal!!
Best
Philip Silvera
+Philip Silvera I'm really glad to hear it!! I've been a fan of the Punisher for a long time and I'm so looking forward to seeing Jon Bernthal bring him to life :)
BTW I looked up your stunt reel on TH-cam and see that you've worked on some of my favorite fights put to screen like the trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins and the cutscene from the Star Wars videogame.
+Philip Silvera I finished Season 2 and I am just blown away with the fight choreo. You weren't kidding!
The stunt guy doing all this stuff deserves an award.
actor does some staff too I mean the guy acted like a blind man
definitely inspired by The Raid
Of course...
Just when you minding your own business eating a burger you get hit in this face with a flashlight 😂😂😂😂
Can you do a season 2 version?
Now that you are back, seeing on for season two of DD would be nice. Ninjas and all.
@John Nemesis:Can you do an Arrow fight moves compilation ?
+Benjamin Freeman i agree, it grew mostly very stale after season two. He repeats SOO many of his "twirling" moves
+Alex Mounte If you like the hallway scene in Arrow you should watch "The Raid" hallway scene
To me action needs to use proper usage and timing of slow-mo and proper usage of shaky-cam will be great without hurting the overall plot and choreography of combat
Thanks a lot ;) Netflix make me a fan of daredevil, it's a very dark universe like 70's comic books, i really need to read these comics.
why can't spider man fight like daredevil in this video?
I agree, i want him to fight more hand to hand like this
+Rahul Varghese why can't Green Arrow fight like daredevil in this video?
because green arrow isn't a fighter like daredevil, daredevil technically is trained to be a killer in hand to hand combat
How does heightened senses don't count,that is technically a power,he could hear 10 miles awawy,hear someone's heartbeat
Heightened senses do count. You can’t say a superpower is invalid just because it isn’t a physical trait. With that logic, mind reading and telepathy aren’t superpowers either then.
HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA! the man doesnt stop. Dude!! i only hear Pow pow arrr arr bamg bamg arr arr pow pow hahahahha.
i think DD, Spidy, Black widow, and kind of winter soldier and caps, has shown real fighting moves and action in all comic movies so far. i could name blade but its all almost especial effects based and Man of Steel got one of the best action fight but it lacks on skills. remind me if im forgeting someone.
he's fight moves are great.
Who do you think would win, Bale's Batman, or this Daredevil?
+Dafty Daredevil
+Dafty DD. Affleck's Batman on the other hand...
+3haterz Bales Batmeng suit is very constricting but its heavily armored. I can see DD ripping his balls off as long as gets the hits he needs to get the upperhand.
Daredevil by far
+So Persistent
Asslick can't do shit unless Scott Adkins were doubling for him
Psh. Batfleck can take down Fisk in one weekend. And be a lot scarier doing it.
Dont act like he is a normal guy....
are you for real right now...
NO SHIT
But he doesn't have the resources or gear to take down such a powerful person in one night. Yes, he has the skills of a ninja, but when it comes to how much he's actually risking and what little he has to use against his enemies...yeah, he's just a small-time neighborhood vigilante. That's why his territory consists of one single neighborhood.
his costume looks awesome too
