I bought a used 2014 Kia Soul with a manual transmission in October of 2016 that had less than 19,000 miles on it 😊 It gets great gas mileage, rides great, handles great & I LOVE IT !!
I own one. It's by far the best vehicle I've owned. 6'3 with plenty of head room. I feel very comfortable in my Kia. I don't have all the gadgets like in this version. Mine is one step up from the base model. It's a roomy vehicle and drives very well. I would recommend it to anyone. Good gas milage, very safe and has plenty of bonuses. It's also at a great price.

I actually purchased the one I test drove. This is the most underrated car ever. I was looking to upgrade from my 2003 PT Cruiser(Which is still in almost new condtion!) A few people recommended the Soul. I was very skeptical, but I figured I would check it out just to eliminate it. 3 hours later, I was driving off with it. I got a base model and added tinted windows and driving lights. I even got the one with the smaller engine. At first I had issues, but now I can zip around town like i did with my PT Cruiser. Also, the car is a lot bigger than it looks on the videos.
***** Even if it got 100 MPG, driving a Mirage would be a punishment.

I test drove one out of curiosity. It blew my mind. How do you have what used to be considered a close to loaded car for $16k or less? There's too many features and performance to look over and ignore. Solid is a good word for it. Everything in it jumps classes up, the dash, NVH, suspension, steering, overall quality, safety score, etc. What's even more impressive when some talk prices. Just spend a small amount of time researching all trim levels and you'll find you can beat most of the prices. The base on can get very low, to the point if you bought anything else in the range other than a Soul, it's pointless. It's one of my favorite cars. I've been recommending it since I took a test drive.
I have a 2014 Soul+ and it is with out a doubt the best and most trouble free car I have owned ( just turned 80 and this is my 49 vehicle) It has had three roundtrip cross country trips, Yuma AZ to Toms River, N.J. averaging about 28-30 mph. and a good portion @ 75-80 mph. I just turned 60,000 mph and have replaced 1 set of tires and a battery. Still no rattles and a good performer, Does everything it is supposed to. I'm sold on KIA.
Own a 2012 Soul+ and love it, the 2014s are really nice but the one pictured should retail for about $25k which is alot but offers alot too. I am looking into trading mine in after the summer and hopefully catch a nice deal on a loaded Soul!
+George Geo don't trade. the dealers will kill you on the value. if you advertise, like the for sale in the window, craigslist, ebay, depending on mileage and over all condition, you should get about $11,000 and that is what the dealers ask YET they'll offer on trade-in maybe $8,000
wife and i test drove a 1.6L base 6-speed manual. had LOTS of standard features and drove with an unexpected level of refinement. it was really nice- not fast of course but a solid car. In the end it was too small and underpowered to be a primary family vehicle and we bought a Jetta Sportwagen instead, but this could be the perfect vehicle for a lot of people- I might buy one when my Infiniti dies.

Better check again there's a big recall on these about it having a faulty engine piece that can cause engine fires same problem has effected some Hyundai car's too look it up
My 2015 Kia Soul plus is great. But the seats are killing me. With only 15k miles on it. I am surprised my car shoots thick white smoke out the exhaust sometimes!
i wouldve bought this car if the windows were bigger, especially the back..the front is alright.

If you have 4 passenger and four pieces of luggage you're out of luck with this car
In my country you have to wait up to 6 months for your order to arrive, so... Not really interested. It's sad, because I really like the car otherwise.
Reason not to buy, the mid 20's combined MPG.
same as most VW's. non-diesel. but for the same price getting a lot more.
