4:31 I discovered recently that you can actually skip fighting Nerijus and still get into Patches hole. Keep running straight when you're forced to dismount your horse, if you just keep sprinting northward past Nerijus he'll spawn but quickly give up and return to his world after a few seconds once you get far enough away, no more than 15 seconds, then you can turn right around and Nerijus won't come back, letting you into Patches hole without the fight.
With the price of Elden Ring and almost 200 hours of play time, I get the priceless benefit of understanding all the jokes. Definitely glad to have made that decision, though I admit I may have gone insane a few times.

Apparently the thing with Giant Crusher's charged heavies doing less stance damage is bunk, despite how prevalent it is as a "fact" in the community. You can test it on Bell Bearing Hunter (who has 80 stance, same as Malenia)--it stance breaks him in two charged r2s guaranteed, so it does at least 40 stance damage like you'd think it would.
Every time he says "spells are garbage", I feel just a little bit more vindicated in my rage toward all the "magic is easy mode" misinformation campaigns I see about Elden Ring.
Amazing. Incidentally, the best Mario powerups are the Metal Cap (for being badass, rad in Melee, and having kickass music) or the Super Crown (for trans-ing your gender).

DMC4 has an ice level as basically their second zone, which is indicative that they were at a loss of ideas at that early in the game. So much so that more than half of the game is you basically going back all the other levels you did again (the other games had you revisit earlier areas, but with more clever twists on them, with other connections and so forth, 4 went and "the same thing as first time, only reverse", revolutionary).
Also, favorite power-up is a toss-up between Raccoon Mario and the boot that you get in like two levels in SMB3. Sadly the latter isn't something you can really rep in Elden Ring. Also no Frog Suit. WTF, Miyazaki? Let me go Frog Suit.
The run to jump above all builds so far is upon us, just in time to a peace the algorithm for that sweet wave of views, certainly run that will need a lot of 1-up and determination, despite you might not like mushrooms.

Apparently the thing with Giant Crusher's charged heavies doing less stance damage is bunk, despite how prevalent it is as a "fact" in the community. You can test it on Bell Bearing Hunter (who has 80 stance, same as Malenia)--it stance breaks him in two charged r2s guaranteed, so it does at least 40 stance damage like you'd think it would.
I could be wrong, but I think it got buffed in 1.07 to be in line with the rest of the Colossal Weapons
