1:06 How did you even breathe? This is what I’m most worried about other than vomiting and starving
it was really scary for the first day. i told the dr and my dad many times i couldnt breathe. my salvia was so thick from surgery, medicine, and being dehydrated. during the surgery they put tubs through your nose so my nose all the way down my throat was swollen.
i still dont know how I got through that part without teaching myself how to calm down. there were definitely moments where I almost had a meltdown.
I get my surgery in a few months. I have my top braces and I get my lower ones on April 24th then I schedule surgery…. I’m nervous but excited..

Do you know the movements you had in the procedure ? How many mm or rotation was done
I dont know the exact measurements but here is the diagnosis: maxillary hypoplasia, unilateral condylar hyperplasia, genioplasty (to correct point of my chin), mandibular asymmetry

Wait i'm havig a similar surgery next week but i had braces for more than a year before and i will have 6 months after it. You don't ?

You are a total champ! I had a very similar surgery couple years ago I wasn’t able to talk for about 2-3 weeks! You are talking so well after only a couple days. Keep strong hope for a speedy and healthy recovery.
Thank you! One of my surgeons told me I could talk and needed to start talking the day after my surgery. Surprising how much you can say without moving your lips/mouth.
