Awesome channel! My husband has his CDL and his ultimate plan is for me to get mine and travel America once our son goes to college! You definitely make it looks nice!
Love the sleeper. Having a sink, and the freezer makes life much more pleasant. I've lived in a conventional OTR rig, wished I had such a nice living space.
That sleeper cab- wow guys, just wow! That bohemian-style bed cover accented with plain single-color pillow covers-pure creative genius. Heather you know you'd make a great interior designer had you not been in the trucking world. This is how a sleeper cab should be. Great job guys! 👍
Thanks for sharing. My only issue with using the top bunk for storage. God forbid if you ever had a wreck all that stuff would become projectiles. So i guess that would be a huge plus side on having cabinets.
Man I do miss driving a semi! I drove with my late husband. We always drove a Freightliner and we had it stocked (meaning a portable toilet, shower, mini crockpot, microwave, tv and so much more! I even cooked a roast (completely with carrots, onions and potatoes) the motor! We didn’t have the cabinets like y’all, it was just factory built.
J. Palmer Oh yeah. I love how excited Emmy was when you talked to her. That little tail really got going. I thought she might do what my little fur baby would do...his little tail would wag so hard, his tiny butt would sway back and forth with the wagging of his tail. 🐱🐈🐕🐩.
This video is very well done. I have used some of your storage ideas in our truck. One thing my husband is particular about and really makes a stand on is that anything that is heavy or could become a missile in the event of an emergency stop or accident has to be behind a cabinet door. For us, that means we store clothing and lighter items in the upper bunk area and canned goods, appliances, and other heavy items in the cabinets. That can be a pain in the rear when you have to drag them out to use them but I guess it is safer. I hope our next truck has cabinets in place of that upper bunk but, like Jason, I wonder if we'll lose storage space or have trouble finding things.
Julie Vestal Thank you Julie! That makes a lot of sense to store heavier items in cabinets. Our next truck will have cabinets instead of the bunk. Bolt does make a conversion that they will take the bunk out and put cabinets but it costs around $2800.
Wow! The lap of luxury! Just started watching you all the other day. You have provided me a whole new, and better perspective on truckers and the trucking industry. You are very professional. Keep up the good work and safe travels.
Alright alright alriiiiiiight !! You are very welcome !! I have always liked these trucks ever since they came out with them !! I do the bus driving for the public schools and I drive a 2017 C2 Saf T Liner and it rides pretty good !! I'd like to drive one of these babies !!!
wow that put my old 03 frieghtliner FL-80 96" alumni bunk to shame .. ohh how i miss driving it for tri-state logged 1,026,000 miles before i had to give it up i loved it and hated it at the same time looking back so many fond memories as well as headaches
Hi you could buy wire baskets at Home Depot so u can install it on TOP of your TOP bunk and that way you can have a better organization and you can still see all ur things plus you will be able to maximise the storage more by having wore baskets in different heights there :)
So happy I found you guys! Bought the let’s truck and my lease truck is the same model mins the water heater and spiffy fan...😉 hopefully over the next 2 yrs I sock some cash away, learn lots of do’s and do nots and all of us will enjoy the ride! Safe travels
Very nicely organized! I often wonder what the Drivers of say 30-40 years ago think of all this technology in your truck. Everywhere you look there is more tech stuff. Like most things I suppose,Trucking sure has changed over the years. Be safe Drivers!
"Fantastic fabulous video guys'.. It's fantastic to see a couple working & gigging this gig together..If you guys can live & work in this small together.. You e got it made.. My lady & I spent 8-9 years on the road in a space smaller than that..& even though at times it was stressful.. It was the best time ever.. We're still on the road.. But we live in something much bigger these days.. "Stay Safe - Drive Safe..😎🌞😊😎
Great idea on the hooks, as for me I rather have much less items around, am a minimalist, lol. As for the water being hot, it did not matter to me, and as for the table I did not really use it. I like things to be fixed no moving stuff around, to just relax, eat, work, or just drive.
Evening folks, after I got your reply to my reply I thought of something you might want to think about using in your overhead bunk, a little item called "cheesecloth". It's a fine netting that I use over the furnace duct in each room to catch any little bits the furnaces filter missed. I've only seen it in white. You could attach one end of it to either the top or the bottom of the bunk front area. Then take the other end of the material, roll it, and attach it to a 3/8 in. diameter wood dowel that could clip into place. It may not stop heavy items from flying about but it certainly would slow them down. Lighter things, not a problem, it would be like an arresting cable on an aircraft carrier. I live in earthquake country so I'm used to figuring out how to keep things where they belong. You folks seem to be truly ingenious in the way you have made your home both lovely and practical. I'm sure that you'll come up with something better than cheesecloth but perhaps it's a starting point. Thank you again, Bonzo.
Bonzo Schlacendaker Thank you Bonzo, that is a really great idea using cheesecloth! We never even thought about that as a solution. We eventually would like to remove the top bunk and add cabinets. We just have to find the time to do that. Take care & have a good week :)
Last night I viewed the video you made for your 2019? 2020? truck. Huge difference between that and this. I didn't see the bathroom/shower in this one. I do like the bunk storage in this one. That's a lot of space up there. I do agree with Heather it looks like the new truck has a longer counter top space.
I started my own delivery company. Using my own car and mini van right now. This would be great for a starter fir what I’m trying to do. I would also use some Freightliner m2 26 and vans. Well that’s my dream. Pack-N-Go
Definitely know that Landstar emblem even if it is covered up.. I had a hino with a 98 sleeper.. I love all the space I have and I do agree with you about having the cupboards above the upper bunk were such a pain in the butt to get out anything... I had the double closets on the one side Where your one closet and refrigerator are with a little tiny side covered and then on the side where your sink is where my sink was on 1 side in my refrigerator was on the other.. My bunk on the bottom didn't lift up so that was one thing I wish it did do... But I have a friend Who has the sleeper with the actual shower and potty in it
Thanks for sharing 🙂👍 It can be a little invasive to share your living space but remember we are all friends here and there is no judgement, just learning and appreciation ☺️
Cool video. Thank you for the tour. Yall got allot of room. I know your new truck is bigger but i wanted to see what this one looked like again. Im thinking of changing from tractor trailer to a straight truck or maybe a van doing expedited. I drove for 40 p l us years and its time for a change and im wanting room. But im not going to run teams unless i know the person well. Ive had a bad out come with a team driver and a hour after the change out we ended up on our side. They fallen asleep. Sucks
Oh that don’t sound nice with that team. This old truck would be perfect of a solo. We made it work as a team but always wished we had bigger. (Now We do) lol. It is a little tougher for a straight solo to make it, but it can be done. Wish you the best in making a move
Thank you so much for welcoming me into your home / office. I knew from the moment the curtain Drew back that you were good Folk. From your adorable puppy to the bedspread and the way everything was laid out and decorated I would have been proud to call that home! I believe you to have restored my faith in mankind to a good degree. Any concern about having to stop fast in the contents of the top bunk being airborne? I'm sure you folks maintain plenty of space in front I've been a professional driver myself for many years and know how small annoying objects can suck up your breaking space very quickly and then do things that no human should. All the same I give you all a 10! God's blessings on you both, I'll be looking for future videos.
The shower curtain is the right idea for the top bunk but, take it one step further and incorporate a cargo net so you don't have flying projectiles in case of a accident. Food for thought.
It appears that the rear axle is about 1/2 way under the cargo box. I was thinking if the whole cargo box was loaded with equal weight items, it would be tail heavy. I'm not a weight engineer, but it would seem to be better to have the rear axle 3/4 of way under the cargo box. Would you have preferred a longer wheel base?
SanFranciscoBay Do to the heavy sleeper we need that tail heavy. If the axle was further back we would be extremely overweight on the front. Loading these trucks is somewhat of a science.
That sleeper must really make being away from home a bit easier. I noticed you have the same gallon jug I do for my ice tea! Ok, back to the truck, it's really beautiful and set up perfectly. You guys should be really proud of that ride, not to mention going from a ( for lack of a better term) company driver to O/O! That is a goal many of us drivers have and never reach, congratulations...u guys deserve it for all your hard work and sacrifice out on the road. Love to the babies, and my favorite expediter team...safe travels and keep the shinny side up.
T Bomber Thanks! We are very happy so far. We wish you the best on your upcoming change too! No one told us we had to blur them we just thought it might be best ;) Safe travels!
Thanks for the tour - great rig. I'd be interested in general information on the type of commodities you carry and the distances you travel. Good to see a couple working together. Thanks again.
Ok. So Jason, have you thought aout doing a cdl inspection video? I thinkif you do one it will be great and extremely helpful to newbies. Inspections tend to get lots of views.
Does all that stuff not bounce around when your traveling, I’m an OTR driver and I’m on some pretty bumpy terrain, the stuff around the sink it doesn’t fall all over the floor while your driving? I couldn’t imagine picking it up every time I switched out with my partner
Venture I know what you mean about the roads lol!! We’ve figured out ways to help keep things in their place. The stuff behind the sink are in little containers that we put dual lock Velcro on that’s fastened to the counter to keep them from moving, we have a piece of that rubberized drawer liner under the coffee pot so it doesn’t slide around. The cutting board over the sink we put 2 bottle caps on the underside of it that fit on the inside of the sink so it doesn’t move. We don’t leave anything loose on the counter when we are rolling. Doesn’t mean we don’t forget sometimes lol 😉
TheCraftyTrucker awesome I’ll have to get some of that then, I’m waiting for my wife to finish her training so we can ride in the same truck, we are trying to save up and get our own, but I loved the setup you guys had and I just wondered, but stay safe and thanks for the amazing video! 🕺🏾
Oh by the way, Heather has definitely lost weight looking at this vid !!! U go girl!!! I just wanted to see the entire house on wheels!!! The pup on the bed is priceless!! We have chi"s too!! They're so funny
I own a frieghtliner Colombia 2007 tractor, but I'm really considering making my next truck a expedite truck. I KNOW that thing is a heck of a lot easier to drive. And u don't have to worry about not finding a parking spot, since u can park the thing anywhere.
Mr Crafty Trucker are these trucks widely available? And is there a lot of work in it? I'm interested in getting a 2007 expedited truck if I jump on board
Just curious guys , does that cab style come with a shower/bathroom? If so was there any reason you didn't want it ? (I.e prone to leaks , more weight) I gotta ask , I'm a bigboy 6'5 370lbs , I told u B4 thinking of doing this w/the wifey! She's a lil bitty 5foot nothing Asian lady so she'd fit in the damn glovebox if need be BUT ME AND HER or hell me alone in that bed looks like a tight fit or some yoga lessons may be in my future lol is there bigger bed options or do both you All fit comfy ok !! Noticed the bunk above , I could sleep on bottom and wifey on top but hey what the hell happens if we get time off and wanna get frisky 😂💦💦💦
PopsAndAlly Thanks! You could do the toilet/shower combo in this size sleeper with an under counter fridge. The first truck we drove had a 96" ARI sleeper with the toilet/shower combo. It was ok but the shower was small and so was the fridge. You could always get a larger sleeper and do a smaller box. The bed is fine for us but like JW said being 6'5" your not going to be able to stretch out fully. Hope everything is good in sunny San Diego! :)
Do you have to call Waste Management when Jason shaves his noggin outside, LoL.... I live in a 35 foot converted construction trailer, and I have almost all my dishes and pantry items on shelves which would be kind of equal to your bunk, and I like it coz I can see at a glance what I have and is easy to get to and put away. I can also take the unloaded shelf down for cleaning. A little of that rubber mat stuff keeps expensive dishes from sliding off when pulling out the one beside it, etc. I also have labeled plastic boxes that act as drawers for utensils, and sugars, cat food, etc. that fit nicely on the shelves. This is the first time I'm hearing that Heather and Jason sleep together, "naughty" lol...... A really nice tour guys.... I'm going to do that cutting board idea over one section of my sink....
Pete_ Hine_Of_PA I think your set up sounds awesome! I bet Shyann knows exactly which plastic bin holds her food. LOL thank you Pete your comments always give me a giggle! You have to let me know how your cutting board sink cover turns out. :)
Thanks Heather, and I love that you guys usually take the time to answer reply''s, not just mine but most of them and I realize how time consuming that is, it's just another thing of many that makes you guys really awesome Vlogers ! And, yes Shyann is a real smarty pants, she knows more than I want her too, LoL. I forgot to mention, even though I live in a 35 foot construction trailer, I have a 6 car all block garage on 3/4 acres of land, so I can house my cars, lawn equipment. There is also a full bath and wood stove and detailed office in there, so I'm not a total trailer or tiny house liver so to speak as some people are. However, while I'm single except for Shyann, lol, this set up works great for me and is very cozy. I can imagine on a stormy night, laying in your bunk in that beautiful sleeper watching TV how cozy that must also be. I'll keep ya's posted on how I make out with the cutting board, weather I fabricate my own or buy something that works like you guys did. You guys put the "C" in Crafty Truckers...
I’ve seen these with xpo and ls and others what is the pay like? per load like a flatbed or mile? You need team? All 48? Really interested in doing this in the next few years
Shawna Graham we’ve done videos on all these questions if you’d like more detailed answers check out our playlist in the tips section. Short answers is pay commiserates with most trucking jobs, yes all 48 but not all states are good for trucking, team will do way better with less sitting.
I'm trying to get on the road soon....I'm leaning towards the sprinter van....but you guys kinda make me want to do a straight truck my only draw back is I'm solo... I am not fond of teaming with an unknown person.... it's a personality thing.....no worries 😅
NOMADIC Zodiac personally as solo I would go cargo van. Rushing into expediting can be risky specially if the rush is financial. Once you start chances are your first check won’t come for two or three weeks. When it does come it will most likely be kind of low. There are no guarantees of consistency checks either. May make 250 one week then 800 the next.
Mr Crafty Trucker I appreciate your advice. I'm ok financially... I'm just ready to get going. I have been driving commercially since 1998. I actually sent my self to school 4 times, including obtaining a master's degree all while driving commercially. I am currently a Clinical Social Worker but I'm burned out right now. I cannot wait to switch back to driving something...😅
Looks very nice . But with all the things you have in the sleeper and 160 gallon fuel capacity. This all adds into you weight capacity. So with all this how much weight can you legally haul.
Joseph Durand Thanks Joseph. Yea these trucks are already heavy on the front even before putting anything in them. We’ve even added a lift gate since this video which cut down on our carrying capacity too. We can haul about 5k-5500 lbs but most of our loads are never over 1000 lbs anyway.
Wondering how you set up your entertainment system. I'm assuming you're running cross border? What can you share about that? Also are you's parking at Walmart's, or other places? I would really like to hear from U2 about any and all tricks of the trade
Heidi B so many tricks to share in one message lol check out a lot of our video though. We share stuff all the time. We used to do cross border but not anymore. Also not all Walmarts allowed trucks to park there. It’s always really smart to call ahead and make sure they allow truck parking. We mostly Park at truckstop and rest areas. Not much to the border crossing stuff as long as the dispatcher or broker gets all the paperwork right. Our experience was we had to wait a lot of times at the border before we could cross because paperwork was not correct or finished
Do you guys like driving for Panther or Landstar better? The reason I'm asking is because I'm from Cincinnati, Ohio and i'm thinking about driving from Panther because it's close to home....If I was to drive for Landstar, do I have to go to Jacksonville Florida or do they have a base in Ohio I can drive from? Thanks for all the updates and tours, you guys are amazing...Keep up the good work!!!!
Brotha To The Night Thank you so much! We like LS much better. We drove for a fleet owner leased on to Panther for 4 years before buying our own truck and moving to LS. I don’t believe LS has an office in OH, even with Panther you will either have to have your own truck or drive for a fleet owner.
I sure miss these guys . Two awesome people. I hope you are prospering and safe.
Me too
Awesome channel! My husband has his CDL and his ultimate plan is for me to get mine and travel America once our son goes to college! You definitely make it looks nice!
Katie Kamm we love it. Trucking really is perfect for husband wife teams.
Love the sleeper. Having a sink, and the freezer makes life much more pleasant. I've lived in a conventional OTR rig, wished I had such a nice living space.
Bill Moran it makes a world of difference.

amin nabam Thanks so much Amin!
Thanks for sharing. My only issue with using the top bunk for storage. God forbid if you ever had a wreck all that stuff would become projectiles. So i guess that would be a huge plus side on having cabinets.
teamstr259 Thanks! That is definitely a concern we may put some sort of net up there if we don’t take the bunk out and put cabinets.
This is incredible! I’m so inspired! I think I might be a future TRUCK DRIVER! Thank you for sharing this!
Thank you, this was our first truck. We ended up upgrading to this th-cam.com/video/f7lDA8wORDk/w-d-xo.html
The bunk storage is awesome. Much more flexible in what and how you can store stuff.
Chuck Taylor Thanks Chuck :)

Love "cameo" appearances of the fur babies! Your truck looks good.
J. Palmer Thank you! She's the real star 😉

When you decide to change the sink might I suggest going to a RV parts recycler. You should be able to get the bigger sink with covers.
I enjoyed your video. It's interesting to me how organized and comfortable the two of you can be on the road.
r3g3c8 Thanks a bunch! Happy New Year :)

I'm impressed with all that you have in the sleeper area!
David Dickerson Thank you David. We are lucky to have a lot of space :)
Nice work with the modifications hot glue guns are awesome also for like your bottle tops on the cutting board
Chad Adler Thank you Chad! That is a great tip, we never even thought about using a hot glue gun thanks :)
Wow you guys are clean. Really take pride in your stuff .
thank you i hope to go to trunking school in april and i will use some of your ideas when i go on the road
We wish you all the best!!

Liz Childers Thanks a bunch Liz! We love our sleeper. Definitely helps us to stay on the road longer :)
Not a wasted square inch. Nice use of tiny utilitarian items that FIT and look to be very functional. You must really like TA gadgets for shopping.
Roobah Thank you :)

Some great ideas there for using in an RV. Great video and Truck Tour. You back on the road now smashing out the jobs.
ecovention Thank you! Yep we sure are :)
Nice Truck. It is always cool to see the ideas people come up with in their trucks.
Walmart has a foam dog bath. No water. It's awesome in the truck. Squrit on dog rub in dry off with towl

oh yeah also bought pants and shirts as uniforms to avoid worry of matching, and excess clothing
We've thought about doing that too
Awesome Video , I really enjoyed it
If you are looking to purchase a new one we have one at Valley Freightliner in Cleveland Ohio. It is a used Cascadia tho. So the GVW will be 33k+.
David Lamy Thank you so very much David 😊 And we love that tea jug!
It’s so majestic!!!
*AWESOME TOUR GUYS*
Robin Hood Thank you Robin :)

Is the blurring of the truck logo a new policy change? Hope you guys are enjoying the change! Mine is coming soon. Here's to many safe miles!
T Bomber Thanks! We are very happy so far. We wish you the best on your upcoming change too! No one told us we had to blur them we just thought it might be best ;) Safe travels!
You can tell it says Landstar.
I drive for fedex ground. You weren't in middletown pa recently were you. Nice truck and safe travels😀
Good jobs, guys. Thanks for sharing! I enjoyed watching. #ThumbsUp
SoldierMike6ft2 Thanks so much :)
*hello* ohhhhh ! great stuff ! I don't have the words! sooo nice!
Champagne Sylvie Hi! Thanks so much :)
Thanks for the tour - great rig. I'd be interested in general information on the type of commodities you carry and the distances you travel. Good to see a couple working together. Thanks again.
I guess I'm kinda randomly asking but does anyone know a good website to stream new series online?
@Zakai Jalen flixportal :D
@Hamza Zane thank you, signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) Appreciate it !
@Zakai Jalen glad I could help =)
Awesome setup!

Beautiful Truck,Congratulations keep up the Good Work..👍🏼
Wayne T Thank you :)
Ok. So Jason, have you thought aout doing a cdl inspection video? I thinkif you do one it will be great and extremely helpful to newbies. Inspections tend to get lots of views.
GENERAL RED Hey Red! You talking about a Pretrip inspection or a DOT inspection?
Lovely sleeper
Awesome video guys very cool
Christian Janicki Show Thank you :)
Nice rig guys .
Thank you
Thank you for sharing! Very nice truck!
Thank you
Hi folks good to see you take care and keep on trucking god bless.
Oh by the way, Heather has definitely lost weight looking at this vid !!! U go girl!!! I just wanted to see the entire house on wheels!!! The pup on the bed is priceless!! We have chi"s too!! They're so funny
Thank you Curtis 😊🐶
Could the dinette table also fold up just leaving the two facing dinette benches?
Brian Shull I’m sure that is something you could have Bolt do.
I love this truck.
I own a frieghtliner Colombia 2007 tractor, but I'm really considering making my next truck a expedite truck. I KNOW that thing is a heck of a lot easier to drive. And u don't have to worry about not finding a parking spot, since u can park the thing anywhere.
Miguel Robb almost anywhere. It is a lot easier though making the job much more enjoyable.
Mr Crafty Trucker are these trucks widely available? And is there a lot of work in it? I'm interested in getting a 2007 expedited truck if I jump on board
Miguel Robb they are widely available. If you get on the right company you’ll stay fairly busy.
Awesome truck. Very impressed. 👍
She's a beauty!!!!!
Just curious guys , does that cab style come with a shower/bathroom? If so was there any reason you didn't want it ? (I.e prone to leaks , more weight)
I gotta ask , I'm a bigboy 6'5 370lbs , I told u B4 thinking of doing this w/the wifey! She's a lil bitty 5foot nothing Asian lady so she'd fit in the damn glovebox if need be BUT ME AND HER or hell me alone in that bed looks like a tight fit or some yoga lessons may be in my future lol is there bigger bed options or do both you
All fit comfy ok !!
Yeah , and the truck is good lookin' as well ! :-)
Gorgeous!
Shami Basar Thanks :)
A very impressive set up.
Frederic Koning Thanks Frederic :)
I just subscribed. Very curious to learn what it means to be an expediter.
What a great truck/home. Very cool.
Chris Collins thanks
I just loved your video.
Renita Isbon Thank you 😊
I worked at the Mt holly plant for 25 years. Built thousands of those trucks.
John Nelson Very cool!
@Crafty Trucker I'm license both A and B CDL but I need to get on the road with either or really soon.
WOW nice machine! nice job! I want one!
Daniel Kennedy Thanks!
Beautiful Truck you guys do a great job keep on trucking
Robert McCabe Thank you 😊
Awesome, Tah Majal 😎
Butch Thompson Thank you Butch 😁
Looks very nice . But with all the things you have in the sleeper and 160 gallon fuel capacity. This all adds into you weight capacity. So with all this how much weight can you legally haul.
Joseph Durand Thanks Joseph. Yea these trucks are already heavy on the front even before putting anything in them. We’ve even added a lift gate since this video which cut down on our carrying capacity too. We can haul about 5k-5500 lbs but most of our loads are never over 1000 lbs anyway.
You have tastefully upgraded your sleeper and driving position for comfort and appearance. I like your Chihuahua babies.
Jeffry Blackmon 😁
Very smart couple.. Keep on trucking
Sweet setup!!!
