I mean, the new one isn't coming out until 2026, so if Capcom were smart, they'd have been working on remasters for the other 3 this whole time and release them next year to help drum up hype for the new one. If I were making a new entry in a beloved series after a long period of time, I would want to make the other entries as accessible as possible to help catch up newer/younger players.
I think I will just play Onimusha 2 and 4 on PCSX2. 4 looks great, but the background in 2 is blurry. I don't think Capcom will ever remaster them, so I might as well just play them.
Why is there no Onimusha HD Collection for modern platforms is out of my mind, all of the DMC games got remaster including the awful DMC2 but no love for Oni??
