Your stories are very enjoyable to listen to, so chill and so beautiful… thank you for your work 🥺❤️❤️
@@sayuri_lyssa_channie Thank you so much for saying that!!! 🥹 I'm so happy that you found the channel and that you're enjoying the videos! Thank you for the support 💜
Thank you for this podcast! I'm sure this will be a very useful resource for my as I go on my slow language learning journey 🥳 6K Coffee in Gwangju was a wonderful cafe I went to this August.
Slow and steady is a great way to learn a language! I'm happy that you'll use my videos to study in the future, thank you so much!! 💜 And thank you for the recommendation, I just looked it up and it looks really cute and cozy! I'll definitely make sure I go the next time I'm in Gwangju 😋
@@storytimeinkorean it's been 4 years since I started learning, so slow and steady epitomises my progress 🤭 I'm glad you'll check it out! There are quite a few cute cafés around the corner from 6K, so I'm sure you'll love the decor. Unfortunately I didn't have time to check the rest of them out during my day in Gwangju this summer 😞 Please share any cafe recommendations you have for Seoul and Busan because I'll be back next month 🥳
OMG! Can't believe I was able to understand all of this video without much difficulty😭😭😭 THANK YOU SO MUCH! this really boosts my energy to keep learning 💜💜💜

What resources do you recommend to learn??
@@cooly5015 Take a look at Trancy (it's free) in the description. It has a lot of really cool ways you can use the video to study with. Stuff like dictating, sentence reordering, shadowing etc. 😄
Me too, I was surprised as well!!
@@storytimeinkoreanthis is rewarding and help me learn korea as well. Thank you 😭😭
You are an Angel. Seriously. I don't have to play the korean news and not understand a single word to hear korean! THANK U

Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!! I’m really happy the podcasts are comprehensible and the words aren’t too difficult. I’m going to try my best to keep it that way! ♥️😊
I listened with my eyes closed. I can't believed I was able to understand everything! I used to try watching kdramas or other korean content without subtitle to check my comprehension. But this is the first time I finished a content and understand EVERYTHING without reading the subtitle. I feel very happy and feel that I am having a little progress with my Korean skills. I just subscribed to you. I hope to learn more!
That's an incredible accomplishment and very rewarding, huge congrats!! 😊🎉 The goal with my videos is to make them comprehensible for everyone, so that you can enjoy the video and learn while having fun, so hearing that you understood it well means a lot! Thank you so much for subbing and watching the videos! 🥺💜
How did you learn words and grammar? I’m still jsut a beginner and I barely know the letters, words and grammar is so hard for me especially 😢
@@trinny_ydid you figure a way out?
@@fahimkabir4464 I mostly just listened and read things in Korean, and if there were words I didn't know I'd look them up and keep practicing over and over again. I'm still not the best, and I can barely even speak still but I at least know SOME words and SOME grammar rules
I'm so happy this type of content is available, it really helps me to study and have fun, I absolutely love it !! :o

I have a really hard time trying to focus when studying grammar, so I’ve been trying to prove a point that I can learn Korean just by listening to it just like I did English, and I LOVE these little podcasts, they’re so fun and entertaining, are most importantly the pronunciations is clear and easy to understand, thank you so much for the content!! ❤
Yay!! I’m so happy to hear that! 😊💕 thank you so much! 💕
I totally feel you, learning grammar was not as fun as listening or reading when I was first learning English too 😩 but you’re right, when you listen to Korean a lot, even better while reading, you’re going to start to see the same grammar getting used over and over in the sentences and get familiar with it! And since you had fun consuming the content of your interest, I believe it will stick to you more quickly and easily! Please keep letting me know how it goes! 🥰💪🏻

Anyong seo! I'm from the US and I've become a fan of k-dramas, so I thought it would be fun to learn Korean and not have to rely on subtitles (which feels a long way off right now). I've started this learning journey about a year ago, but I took a break and for several months and have just gotten back into it. I'm from the Seattle area on the west coast of the US - and we are all about coffee here (Starbucks started here)! I hope to visit Korea someday. Kansahamnida for sharing these stories with us to help us learn. I appreciate it!
Hi!! 😊 There are so many good k-dramas! Some of my and my husband’s favorites on Netflix are Itaewon-Class, D.P., Crash Landing on You, and My Mister. I’m so glad you just got back into learning Korean! It’s a long journey, but as long as you have fun and enjoy the process, I’m sure you’ll have rewarding moments soon!! And omg, I’d love to visit Seattle, especially for the coffees there! 🥺 I hope you can visit Korea one day too! You’ll experience a massive amount of language immersion! Haha
@@storytimeinkorean Crash Landing on You was one of my favorites too. Also Startup and Memories of the Alhambra.
Yes!!! We watched all of those! There are so many good ones 😆😆
I don't wanna be the person to nitpick and stuff but you writing the romanised korean wrong is itching me correct you 😭✋ I'm sorry in advance for offending you (some people gets offended so I'm just saying) it's"Annyeonhaseyo" and "kamsahamnida/kamsahabnida"
@@user-ilovebangtan04 One instruction course I'm using said not to worry about the romanization, since it won't truly be accurate anyway, so I went for how it sounds when pronounced by a native speaker.
your voice is so calming and you speak so clearly, i was able to understand a lot of things without looking at the english subtitles. thank you.
Thank you 😭
This is exactly the content I needed, bless you

I just recently moved to Korea and have been feeling a bit defeated because I don't know much of the language, but I was able to pick out a lot of the words in the sentences, and could even translate a few of the sentences into English, without looking at the subtitles. This video makes me feel like I am making progress. Thank you so much for posting this.
Moving to Korea and learning the language is a massive hurdle in life, but I promise you stick with the videos and practice everyday and you’ll be able to speak to people and live comfortably in no time! As long as you’re engaging with the language, you’re making progress! Thank you so much for watching and make sure you enjoy your time in Korea, it’s incredible!! 🥰♥️
@@storytimeinkorean Yes, I completely agree. I think that active listening is very important for language learning. It's a long process, but as long as I'm able to make progress, I'm happy. I definitely will, thank you! It's been such a beautiful place to live in ❤

This is adorable!! The saddest thing is that I could understand most of the video in text, but not in speaking. I could not get a single word when people speak, but only when they write it I can understand, or atleast when they speak slowly. It's so embarassing.. 😢
Thank you so much!! Don’t put yourself down so much! 😢 I had the same issue learning English, but I can promise you with a ton of reading and listening your speaking will get better. My husband has the same problem, but by listening to Korean more and more and practice speaking he’s improved drastically. Try to use the podcast and videos in different ways such as using Trancy (info is in the description) to practice dictation! I also recommend listening to the same material repeatedly with and without subtitles in a row. If you are familiar with what you’re listening to already then you might start to hear more words, more grammar phrases, and so on! I think it’s really important that you experience that feeling of you hearing something and being able to understand it, no matter what it was!! 화이팅!!!! 💪🏻 Please keep me posted how it goes! ♥️
@@storytimeinkorean THANK YOUUUU SO MUCH!!! i will certainly try to do that, your video was so relaxing !! I will definitely check out more and try to improve my listening skills; it's inspiring to hear that you had the same with English! I promise I'll tell you when I start to understand everything flawlessly!!
You don’t have be flawless!! Just let me know anytime you want! I know you’ll get better! 💪🏻 Again It may not feel like it but listening can be improved through reading, so keep doing what you’re doing too! ☺️♥️ thank you so much again for telling me your feeling, you’re amazing! ♥️

Btw I LOVE Korean cafes, I went to a cafe in Daegu, it had a dog and lots of antiques with this very calming instrumental music in the background, I felt for one that everything was ok. Thank you for sharing this with us.
Oh yay!! 🥰 thank you so much for finding my channel and listening to this podcast! I’m glad you were able to relate to my hype about Korean cafes haha that’s awesome that you’ve visited Korea twice already! 🤩 and doesn’t it feel great to have found a favorite place in another country that you felt comfortable and want to go back to? ☺️🌸 sounds like that cafe had a really unique character to it which makes it more personal and memorable! Thank you for sharing your memory too ❤️
And feel free to check out my other podcasts too for more stories related to Korea and Korean culture ☺️❤️
이 비디오를 봐주셔서 정말 감사합니다 💜💜
Your voice is very pleasant to hear 🥰 it's a nice video to practice our listening skills, I really enjoyed it!
Thank you so much!! 🥰 Make sure to check out the others if you haven’t already! ♥️
@@storytimeinkorean I definitely will, thanks!
I find this is one of a good korean learning resource, we can listen to native speaking and read the text both in 한글 and english. It helps. 선생김 thank you.
Being able to follow along in 한글 while referring to English is a great way to learn! Thank you so much for watching! ♥️🥹
I really loved this one and I subscribed of course 😊
I could understand most of the content without even see the transcript.
I'll definitely come back to watch, listen to more.
정말 감사합니다! 수고하셨습니다!
It’s incredible that you’re able to understand and follow along with the video so well, nice job!! Thank you so much for watching and subbing! 💜 Being able to understand the content so well and repetitively listening is the most valuable when learning! 화이팅! ☺️
This was so relaxing to listen to! I enjoyed that the video was short (I'm not a long podcasts person), and that you paused to let the viewer respond and attempt to form sentences in Korean to reply with.
I'm from Vancouver, and we have a large Asian population, specifically Chinese. But we do have a decent amount of Koreans and Japanese too. I've been to cafés here with korean-style doughnuts and drinks, but Korea has so many cute themed cafés I would love to visit one day
Thank you so much for enjoying the podcast!! 😊 That's awesome that you have cafes with Korean doughnuts and drinks! We only have a couple where I live now, so it's hard to get them. My favorite Korean doughnut is called 꽈배기, It's a twisted, cinnamon doughnut. Since there are Koreans in your area, hopefully you can practice speaking with them and the videos can help even a little! ❤ 정말 감사합니다!
@@storytimeinkorean I do! My college has a learn a language teach a language program, so I’ve been able to practice with a native speaker for about a year! And I think I know the doughnuts you’re referring to! I’ve seen them at a Korean doughnut shop here
That’s incredible, not many colleges have programs like that. It’s great that you can take advantage of it 😊
That was a great dialog, I like how is it not to slow nor to fast, I understand quite alot of it thanks alot
Thank you so much!! 😍 I'm so happy to hear that! Being able to understand content in your target language is the best feeling ever! 😆
정말 감사합니다!! 😍 그 말을 들어서 너무 기뻐요!

Your voice is soft and comfy
That’s so sweet of you!!! I’m happy my voice made the podcast enjoyable!! ☺️ Thank you so much for watching! ♥️🥰
After 100 days of studying Korean, I can understand 1% of the video
Little by little you’ll be able to build up your vocabulary and follow along! 100 days of studying is impressive, keep at it!! ♥️😊 화이팅!
Thank you for this story. I was in Korea 7 years ago, I was surprised how many cafes are there. I remember Angel in us coffee, where our friends invited us. Love from Czechia❤
You’re right there are so many cafes!! They’re all so cute and cozy, especially the Angel in us coffee shops! Thank you so much for watching!!! 💜🥹
this was gorgeous visually, and the audio quality was also incredible, as someone who is just learning korean the only suggestion i can make is use a program that will highlight the korean words as you read them so i can practice my reading skills...because you speak faster than i can read!!!
Thank you so much for such nice compliments! 💕And I appreciate the suggestion, I'll keep it in mind for my next videos in the future!
정말 감사합니다💕
Just subbed! 👍
Yayyy!! Thank you for subbing and enjoying the videos!!!! ♥️

Hi, i actually haven't started my Korean learning journey but I'm already preparing for it, to learn alongside my Spanish. But i found this video very relaxing and fun to listen to. It's definitely going to help me when I start learning Korean ❤ thank you. You also have a soothing voice ❤
Congratulations on starting the Korean journey, it's a lot of fun and really a beautiful language! I'm happy you found my videos! ☺ They're approachable for learners that are in the easier stages, you just have to take it slow and be patient and you'll see that a lot of the vocab and grammar repeats! Thank you for watching! 🥰💜
@@storytimeinkorean An absolute pleasure. You'll see more of me on here 💜

Thank you!!
I am loving this channel so much, the drawings are so cute, and I just noticed you gave a word frequency list in the description which is also awesome. I hope you keep creating content for a long time. 🙏As far as suggestions, I love that you provide subs in English and Korean through youtube but I sometimes wish that there weren't hard subs on the video so that I could train listening comprehension more specifically.
Thank you so much!! 😍 we are really having fun making content and helping out fellow Korean learners! And we really appreciate the feedback, we’ll definitely keep that in mind for our next podcast that comes out in a couple of days!
