Sanders It’s depends on the texture of hair and the person. This style can be incorporated with longer hair or mid length, as long as you can texturize it it🙌🏽

This hair was honestly short looking back at it, now his hair is long and perfect for texture. Id say length is good for a crop once your bangs start to cover some of your forehead so your barber has more freedom to give texture
Advice if you want flat hair is keep length, especially around your swirl area to keep the weight of your hair. Wear beanies whenever you get the chance!

I usually take 45-1hr because I like to take my time and really perfect the craft of texturizing. I think speed will come as you practice!

Try an open 1 guard. Usually a fully open blade adds 0.5 to the guard. Fully closed cuts at the prescribed length!

That’s how his hair grows naturally. But you can train your hair by constant brushing/combing and wearing a beanie so I️t can stay flat

I wet my hair before going to sleep and then put a durag overnight and it stays flat all day

This is the “Ceramic Blade”^ Allows the fast feed to be zero gapped (cut closer). The original blade can’t be zero gapped not that I know of
