I remember Wade always talking about the respect for Geordie and how he really appreciates this podcast, how it was a big goal for him to someday be on here. Its just great to see it really happen man, and way sooner than anybody expected.

@@benknight7130 he literally kept talking and over talking and cutting Wade off every time he wanted to make a point or say something. 75% of this podcast is true geordie talking nonstop. Wade literally gets cut off 3-5 times before he gets to actually talk.

I disagree about Joe. He wasn't promoting the event. He was there to do a job and act professionally. All the drama he tried to cause was for attention to him. Do you think posting a photo afterwards of a few empty seats, was still "promoting"
I mean, ksi was initiating the conflict tbh. He didn’t have to say “oh hi Joe weller, fuck you, idk why you’re on this event”.

it’s a shame because you can tell jj was putting his all in to make sure everyone had a good time, but the backlash from any issues people have will the event will come back onto him
He tried his best of what he could control. I'm sure misfits boxing will be better moving on. Not bad for a first event tbh

I felt bad for KSI. Such a massive concept for a PPV and it’s his return to the ring and everything and all this buzz around him vs Jake and whilst I still think that will happen I think these fights he had really let him down. I thought he himself was very good and looked like he was controlling the fights the whole time, never doubted he would loose once the bell rang but his opponents where all beneath him (yes I know 2 week notice and grab a pro boxer who you could afford on that notice after the other one was a racist) but I just feel bad for him because he didn’t get a moment like Jake knocking guys out. He got knockdowns but not proper KO’s.
He and Logan are both fighting in January which will definitely be a big card and I’m guessing Jake will be in that building. As a wrestling fan I’m annoyed because I wanted Logan in the Royal Rumble but I’m excited for that. I want to see KSI actually have a competitive fight to show what he can actually do and I think he wants that as well because those fights weren’t really a challenge
Yeah I'd really hope those guys would go toe to toe with KSI so KSI can actually show he's improved and also getting that KO, Hate the guy but Alex wouldn't have turned his back and ran, Yes KSI would have cleaned him out no doubt but he would have came forward and threw, KSI vs Alex was a extremely good warm up fight
@MMA Expert he has 7 'pro' fights with more losses, whether or not people expected him to perform badly, he still counts as a journeyman

I’m glad the TG has solidified himself as the man when it comes to TH-cam boxing commentary. He was there from the start and any event that hasn’t involved him so far has been worse off for it. He brings a legitimacy and an actual understanding of the YT boxing climate that is sorely lacking when he’s not front and centre. Long may his involvement continue. 🤜🤛

We need more WADE and True Geordie. I can't believe Wade wasn't utilized in the event with the commentary and insight on the fights. WADE and Geordie have amazing chemistry and they would be great commentating fights together.

I've been waiting for this video! It was a great event. Salt Papi was my highlight and he's who I travelled to see but super excited for KSI. I don't care what you think of the man, you have to respect what he's achieved. From making FIFA videos in his parents bedroom to boxing and numerous businesses AND still making TH-cam videos, he's smashing it (and people). He's bringing boxing to a whole new audience and making it enjoyable. Big respect to the dude.

Absolutely love Wade his insight is so good and him and Brian gel so well, but Loz deserves a massive shout out here too. See him get a lot of stick especially when he comments on fighting/boxing but he is genuinely a great touch during this episode and he added so much.

Even tho it’s hard to gauge where he’s at there a few big clues to show he maybe not where he thinks he is/needs to be. He showed no ability to cut of a ring against smaller less skilled opponents. Cutting a ring off isn’t something you do better against a better opponent. He also showed a lack of ability to adapt. His all your looping right hands are being disputed as a back of the head shot, throw a right straight down the middle.
Slim's buildup and match and ko was the best in the event hands down.
Love the podcast. Just a small critique to Geordie if he reads this. There are are many times where Wade is trying to get a point across and he cant do it because he keeps getting cut off and interrupted. I could actually tell that it got slightly frustrating for Wade at times as well. Not like he was mad, but he Just could not finish his points. Let the man finish his sentence Brian! Much love tho
That's one of the things i usually love about this show is the quick pace Geordie and Loz go at. It got a little annoying but there was a moment when Wade sort of took control of the flow and started to keep up.

That is just not needed :O Got nothing to do with pace in my opinion. Just imagine it was the other way around where Wade just started talking loudly and interrupting.

@@minaryeon9259 Nah, I don't have anything against any of them. In fact I like them both. It's simply a critique, no hate. Brian is a guy that just says what he believes. It's not that he thinks his own opinion is always the best. But Brian can often be the loudest voice in the room. So in podcast settings I often feel he could work on letting others finish their points before he cuts them off. I'm also fairly certain this is something he is aware of and actively working on. He is someone that cares for the stuff he puts out so I would assume so.

JJ’s accuracy was my concern against Pineda. Sure he was kinda rolling away which made the shots kinda go to the back of his head a bit, but he didn’t hit him with an accurate straight right hand, it was still kind of wild. I know it is rough to try critiquing accuracy vs a guy fighting you like that though 😂

You said the sound was immaculate but i could not hear a thing in there. They had no speakers so if you were at the top you couldnt hear what was being said and a lot of the time couldnt tell what song was even on. And the seating lol, im guessing its because there were so many empty seats that I ended up sneaking down way closer to the ring, loads of people did so we could actually hear what was happenning.
