Hey man, I just wanted to say that you’ve helped me so much with starting out in music and figuring out what I need. In fact, I just finished my home studio last week! I still suck at producing, but it’s so fun to just mess around for a couple of hours. Anyways, keep up the amazing work!

Dodge Johnson yo man- I appreciate the kind words! Good work getting a home studio finished! That’s so fun. Enjoy making music- It’s a process and an adventure, so have fun with it! Cheers 😁

Oh wow. I was looking into midi controllers and didn't realize I was watching a guy that made some music I very much like. Good videos too.

Nice set up. Funny story, my dad would always carry his gear in stuff like this whenever he went in the road when I was younger. I always thought it was odd and clunky. Looking back now it was genius lol thanks for sharing

That case would cost more than the gear I put in it! I would need a case to protect my case!

How do you take out the foam ? Is it a knife carve-out / tear-off or more like some lego you can easily remove and put back ? Thanks !

Very nice and clean setup, man! I think quarantine has helped us all discover new things about ourselves haha!

That is a well-built setup right there : )) One question; how do you carry your laptop? I'd probably want to put my mac in there too, would you recommend this? And yeah, how do you carr yours? Cheers!

Do you mind if i ask, how you plan on using the keystep pro? Like with hardware synths or whatnot. I'm honestly just starting out and i impulse bought a keystep pro thinking i would just load it up with software synths against youtube's better judgement, but I was just wondering how you're using it, thanks!

Yo! So I'm just starting to get into hardware synths & synth modules. I have a JU-06A that I connect / control with the KSP. Going to learn that synth before investing in more. Right now, on my other 3 tracks I like to have software / VST drums, bass and an additional synth. I like being able to multi-track record and easily switch between different instruments when i'm working on a song. I also like the performance possibilities the KSP gives you.

@@PatrickBreenMusic Okay cool yeah. I won't pretend to know ANYTHING about music production but yea i was going to rely on software/VST's because the idea of multitracking is just so fucking cool to me. It's good to know you're doing that too though. Like every major synth channel (loopop, Sanjay, or some other big name) are like don't buy this thing unless you already have a closet full of hardware synths, so it's hard to be a maverick and go against that ideology. Anywho, thanks for the response, love your channel, Merry Juneteenth, uhhh eat a balanced breakfast?
