I love your comparison videos! Can I request one?: What is the difference between a work hardening vs work conditioning vs. work readiness program? Also the difference between a worksite eval vs an functional capacity eval vs a work tolerance screening (other than the fact that the latter is just a screen cause it feels like they're screening/evaluating the same things!)? And finally, the difference between a vocational eval vs job coaching. A lot of these seem to be describing the same thing :( Thank you!
I'm glad you're enjoying them! I've received a few requests for work assessments and am looking forward to making them soon. I still have a list of requests I'm trying to get through at this time to finish up some of the larger content areas, but hope to get to adult assessments soon!!
Thank you for all your videos!! They are so helpful! Are there different forms of the TVMS for pediatrics and for adults? I watched your other video on pediatric assessments: motor and visual/perceptual, and the TVMS was for children ages 3-13 years. This video it states that it can be used on adults with apraxia as well. Thank you!
Hi Ryan! Thank you for studying with me and sharing your OT journey. I'm so happy to hear you're enjoying my videos and finding them helpful. There is TVMS-3, which provides a single measure of visual-motor skills across all ages 3 through 90+. This single test replaces the two previous versions, TVMS-R and TVMS-UL. You can read more about it here: www.therapro.com/Browse-Category/Visual-Perception-and-Visual-Skills/Test-of-Visual-Motor-Skills-3rd-Edition-TVMS-3.html
Thank you for all your videos!!! I have a question, in what FOR do you think the Beery VMI will fit the best. I'm writing about it and its difficult for me to pick the most accurate. Thank you!!!
Thank you for this Miri! It was very helpful! Do you have any advice/ could you make a video on developmental sequences for things like eating, dressing, handwriting? I'm having trouble getting all the ages straight for those. Thank you again!
Hi Rachel! Thank you for your comment! Glad to hear you're enjoying my videos and learning from them! The pediatric milestones was a challenging area for me as well and took some time for me to learn them. I don't know that there is one easy way, but have some ideas I do want to share! I have some requests I'm trying to finish up, but will get to this area as soon as I can. Stay tuned!
When you state that the TVMS is also for TBI/stroke/apraxia etc., is it only used informally since the age range is from 3 years to 13 years? Or would it only be used for those conditions if the client was that age?
