Great discussion and demo, very positive! I have the ToneDeq, too. LOVE Analog over digital. I have it paired with LR Baggs eq, mainly for the notch filter. Any suggestions on anything else to pair with this? So far I have not heard an Optima Air sound I like much (too shrill for me). Love your demos!
What do you think if this tonedeq use for guitar condenser microphone ? Can it work good ? (guitar condenser microphone use phantom power 48V with xlr jack output)
It's hard to say without seeing what's going, but what I do whenever there's an issue like this is I slowly reverse engineer the process of all of the connections and levels...process of elimination and you'll eventually find where the issue is. Could be a level somewhere or connection
Hi Jason.. Does the Fishman tonedeq have built-in buffers? I'm planning to buy a tuner with buffer. What is your advise? Thanks in advance for the answers.
Dude I'm really not sure. I ended up selling the ToneDEQ and I got the Line 6 POD Go. I wanted to have one unit that I could use for both acoustic and electric for my live solo gigs and that really simplified my stage setup. I have a video on that here: th-cam.com/video/UoZji35Vqa4/w-d-xo.html
You would do this: Guitar - Fishman - Looper - Soundboard. I just posted my latest effects setup for live solo gigs and I also go over the connections here: th-cam.com/video/nZ6gWd8vWMs/w-d-xo.html
Just purchased it but volume is super loud even with built in volume on guitar at min, lowered the trim but still the same, any suggestions, GREAT video and tips thank
Dude, I don't have unit anymore so I'd recommend checking out the Fishman website on all of that. I'm using this now: th-cam.com/video/7FIoBfpTS7M/w-d-xo.html
I ran this through the board and leave the EQ straight up and down and just control the EQ through the pedal. But I don't use this anymore...now I'm using the POD Go for my live solo shows: th-cam.com/video/7FIoBfpTS7M/w-d-xo.html
Mike Vanchieri Yeah dude we’re right around the corner! Hopefully I’ll wake up tomorrow and it’ll be 10k! Like I mentioned, I don’t wanna get caught up on that whole numbers thing but 10k is a milestone and it will allow me to do some other cool stuff on TH-cam!
Glad you enjoyed this. I'm actually using the POD Go now for acoustic for live solo gigs. I literally just posted a new video on my effects setup here: th-cam.com/video/nZ6gWd8vWMs/w-d-xo.html
Jason I found a 7 string Used LTD M107 for $240 bucks thinking about buying it but why is it so Cheap ... Would it be worth it.. you know more about 7 stings and LTDs then I do ..any help would be great
Man, I'd jump on that!! Although I'm not familiar with that specific model, I don't think you can go wrong for the price, and ESP LTD, in general, are just great guitars
Kadotus Yeah dude I’m not a huge fan of doing reviews in general, that’s why I tend to call them demos instead of an actual review. Most ‘reviews’ you see out there are kinda fake and people just trying to sell or promote a product. And I get that; it’s how some make their living. But yeah, I don’t wanna give an opinion until I’ve thoroughly tried it!
@@antonio.lovric I actually use it about 2x a month for all of my acoustic gigs! I plug it directly into my soundboard and use my wireless on the other end going to my acoustic...has worked great!!
That's awesome. Metal and acoustic goes very well together. Love it.
Yes it does!! It's a nice change from time to time

Thank you. I’ve actually switch to the Pod Go for my live solo gigs. Here’s a video explaining why: th-cam.com/video/7FIoBfpTS7M/w-d-xo.html
Those are some sweet acoustic tones and melodies
Archy Petro Thank you brother 🤘
What do you think if this tonedeq use for guitar condenser microphone ?
Can it work good ?
(guitar condenser microphone use phantom power 48V with xlr jack output)
I don't quite understand the question but I would just recommend using it as it's designed to be used
? I'm getting a bunch of noise when using an xlr post mode. Any ideas as to why?

hello! Excuse me... is it good for double bass or electric bass? thanks for your answer.
It’s designed for acoustic guitar so I wouldn’t recommend it for bass

Where would you plug in your looper and will it affect the use of any of the features

There's also a gain knob on the side of the unit so try backing that off and see if that helps
also the pre and post button on the side, what does that do?

how is the eq set on guitar, and amp?👽

@@jasonstallworth Straight up and down? Does that mean in the middle?50%?
@@billysmith8239 yes, unchanged
That knob is called gain and it is not extra. It is the way to optimize your input gain stage
Thank you for clarifying this

Hey there just wanna know can you switch between reverb amd delay on the stage by foot button???
That' the downfall to this unit, in my opinion. You're forced to use only one or the other, but can't use both. Kinda sucks!
Jason Stallworth thanks for the reply man. Really don’t know why they didn’t gave it a thought.

Nice playing ..some very nice parts inthere
Thank you dude, yeah, it's nice to just kick back with an ole flat top now and then!
totally nice to listen to when you play guitar on the acoustic.
Thank you dude! It's cool to kick back now and then with acoustic!
Better to review something after several months of ownership rather than after several hours of ownership. Thank you Jason!
