I got it for 560€ and upgraded to 32gb and 1tb nvme, it's incredible how well it does. The bad thing is that my monitor is 45% ntsc, the colors are quite poor
What a good review and I liked the fact you showed us a computer we might actually be able to order today, and get within 30 days, as opposed to a newer model that is really not available yet. I am saddened by Intel's inability to effectively compete in this class. With the Ryzen machines, and Apple's M1 running circles around them for overall performance and value. I have a G7 Zbook so that my CPU can run at a sustained 45 watts, but you have to use a giant, expensive power brick and forgo USB charging. This all comes down to Intel falling behind the market in supporting new, popular features. With a brighter display, improved camera, and class leading upgradability; clearly HP is finally doing it's part. Sadly it's CPU is not.
Short answer, features. Elitebook, better port / display selections, security options, better built quality. ProBook, mid-range models. Notebook, value laptops.
Wonderful review! Separated sections, good speed without nonsense, great to see a quick overview of alternatives. Just beautiful. Well presented!

Me too, bought it for 500$ like brand new
The G9 model has a 400 nits display much better than the 250 nits/45% NTSC panel in the past.
hey can you tell, where you got this for 500€? I see it is listed for 2000 € on HP site

I already bought HP Dragonfly g2. Like everything about it, except it is sometimes hot and loud.
Interesting. Getting my hands on the Elite Dragonfly Max next week to test this.

Elite Dragonfly, any good GPU in itt, you need that in the Elitebooks !
How do you get such great battery life?!!? Do you put it on battery saver mode or something?
