- Pretty easy to do, just press the yellow button twice and then run the opener fully open/closed.
I did fix the sensors on the opener, they got knocked out of alignment. I did make a video on that which will be my next video, then I noticed the smart panel being weird on the opener.
Thank you, you just solved my problem 🙌🏼
Very helpful. Thanks so much.
Great!! This video really solved my problem. Thank you!
Worked. Thanks!
Just noticed you got a new channel picture! Love it! I've had the same one for four years, and never bothered to change it, because I liked it, but this spring I finally changed my background picture from a drawing to a picture of my opener.
Actually your channel banner and my profile pic look really similar LOL. I've had that pic ever since I started youtube which was years ago, I figured I'd change it up a bit.
@@TBHD724 My original channel banner was a piece of paper of the garage door opener brands that I knew of, which was about 5 lol. I finally changed it to something better (a picture of my opener), but i'll probably keep my profile pic for a long time! My profile pic is original too if you didn't know already.
You saved me!!! Thank you so much for posting!
Like many others this video solved my problem and thank you again for posting it. I liked it. I subscribed and from Arizona huge thanks.
This video just saved me a few hundred bucks. Thank you! I will continue to monitor my garage in the next few days to see if tje problem happens again! More power to you!
Oh those pesky safety eyes! 😅🤣 Solid vid!
gr8 info, I've had my chamberlain for about 2+ yrs, and its worked flawlessly.........until an un expected internet outage, then the force sensors went bonkers. gotta love TH-cam.
THANX FORM CALIFORNIA
Thank you so much!!!!!!!
Thank you! Your video saved the day. Problem fixed.
Ty simply explained
This is cool I also did get four more remotes and they are some liftmasters but I want to know why is your garage door opener buzzing when it went up
It just does the buzzing noise, I actually dont know why
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
So the learn button is on the left side of the opener and not the right? Mine is on the right.
For AC openers it's on the other side. I have no idea why
@@TBHD724 oh ok!
My wife hit the garage door while backing out it somehow didn't open all the way. The lower rolling guides came off track and after putting them back my door wouldn't close all the way. I followed your instructions and it's all gtg now!!
🔥🔥💯🔥🔥
Hey Brazilianhotdog my opener is buzzing now do u know why
What opener do you have?
@@TBHD724 I have the 8550
The belt might be too tight
@@TBHD724 oh ok but every time I open and close it it makes that buzzing noise that’s on my video
I get 4 flashes on up and 1 flash down button. I tried doing your steps
How does the door run by hand? If it's getting stuck on something it will cause that error
Does holding down the button bypass the sensor
Yes
Why such low audio? I have my volume all way up &yet cant hear you..
when u did the 8550 i thought it was the 8365 until i heard the noise
It buzzes because it’s cold and it’s likely the motor it’s self mines is making that noise during the cold too so just chill out it’s not like your opener is likely going to explode!
I never said it was going to explode, i was just pointing out the buzzing
@@TBHD724 I know it’s just if it makes that noise it’s usually making that noise during the coldness
RIP 8550 it is now toasted
i still not fixing the problem
Are you getting any flashing or beeping from the opener? Is it showing an error code on the up and down arrows?
the motor sounds better going down but worse going up.
So if u do this the force will work easily now
It should re-adjust the force to make it more sensitive.
K thanks
I just tried 8t on my c450 and the force is not working
@@TBHD724I'll make a video on it and show u if u like
The force never works as well on the AC motors as it does on DC motors. It's quite easy to stop the 8550, but I've noticed on all the ac motors you need to put a good bit of force before the door reverses, matter of fact on the 8365 the up force is so bad you literally have to ride the door to get it to stop. A good reason to be skeptical of auto electronic force. The RPM sensor and even the spring loaded mechanical forces were way more reliable. Try putting some more force on the C450, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't work
PRO TIP: If you're finding this video because it's the fall and a singular leaf is enough to prevent your garage door from staying closed, then go grab a bunch of leaves. Line the bottom of your garage door with a whole pile of leaves all the way across. Give it the absolute worst case scenario. Then follow the instructions here to set the down-force. It will still stop when it encounters concerning resistance. I put a small piece of wood under mine and it came right back up as expected. But something stupid isn't going to trigger it.
In general, I highly recommend not doing this procedure with the bottom totally clean. Otherwise the tiniest pebble or leaf will be enough to trigger the safety. I used leaves, but during other seasons maybe some crumpled up paper will do the trick? You don't want anything too hard or it won't stop for anything which isn't ideal.
I think its dead
it's not
But how come it kept reversing like the ISL950 when it died
sensors
@@TBHD724 well how did it get kicked out of alignment with the other one
Dont know
