Hi Michelle 😊 Lovely smile! Hope all is well with all of your family - both sides. Thanks for a yummy looking video. The bottom of the crust looks great. I’ll bet it had a nice crunch to it. Any idea whether an instants pot will get as hot on the bottom? I can easily understand if you don’t know. I don’t believe you have one that I’ve noticed. Mine came with the Power AirFryer. It’s a PowerQuick - that company’s pressure cooker. Out of curiosity - have you tried that 2-ingredient dough made of flour and yogurt? If you have, does it cook up similarly?
Hi Holly, I think if your instapot can sear then it should be plenty hot to get a good crust on the dough. As for the 2 ingredient dough made with greek yogurt, I have tried it and for the most part it did work but the texture and the flavor was not to my liking as I prefer a certain texture and flavor to pizza dough. If you give it a try let me know how you liked it . Thanks for your ongoing support.
Hi Joe. That pizza looks great. I purchased the Foodie, haven’t used it yet. I do have 2 of each, Instant Pots and Air Fryers.....lol. I’m now looking at the Ninja Grill. These units seem to overlap in functions. I would say with the grill you get grill marks on steaks. I’m a home cook and bread baker, so I’m looking to make bread in it, as you did pizza. I’ve made burger buns in my air fryer during this heat wave, and they were fabulous. Thoughts?
RPuccia as always thanks for the support we really appreciate it. My thoughts on the Foodi Grill is that as you stated, many of the functions overlap. I was also torn when I purchase my Foodi as to the grill or the pot. I decided to go with this version because is was much more versatile (bake, roast, pressure cook, slow cook air fry) I have been using this just about every day now. As for making bread I wanted to give it a try making a cheese stuffed bread, check out my results here: th-cam.com/video/opO9x9BDZDc/w-d-xo.html I was pleasantly surprised and very happy with the results. If you make bread with it let me know how it turns out. Thanks again for your comments and the support. Stay safe and healthy. 🙏😷
YourEverydayJoe I did purchase the grill, but returned it. I feel the hype and marketing is deceiving. A few of the functions are not true. The power/heat source is in the lid, only. It’s a glorified air fryer! I baked a chicken, the dark meat was done before the white meat. Bake, roast and grill, the heat should be from the bottom, not the lid. Once you lift the lid, heat is lost. The Foodi is so much better and versatile. Jeremy Hill does a good review on here, reinforcing my opinion. Rob Puccia
that was fun, nice and simple. I'm gonna make some pizza in my Ninja Foodi right away, got the dough kneaded already.
Thank you.😎👍
Never knew that.
That’s pizza looked awesome, and easy! Great presentation.
It was delicious 😋 too! Thanks for the support.
It heats with the lid up?
When using the Sear/Sauté function, it can be used without a lid or with the lid up.
Another Great Video Brother
Thanks Mr FSU, we appreciate the support. Stay safe out there.
