Dayum! I'm late to the party. I was stationed in Bremerhaven 1963-66 and never heard of these guys. Outstanding! The Lords, Freddy, Hans-Jurgen Baumler, Francoise Hardy. How did I miss these guys?
I mean aside from Achim Reichel the band members are really only known to fans in Germany as well. Edit: Whoops, misread that one, 3 years ago not 3 month ago.
Isn’t that from the movie “Hurra die Rattles kommen”. They were big into Chuck Berry early on, but later made some original 60s beat records. Their only international hit, “the Witch”, is an absolute killer.
Interesting song. A German group singing a Chuck Berry tune ,Beatles style. The lead singer has to slosh his way thru Phonetic English with some interesting pronunciations. It definitely adds to over all appeal of this tune.
You all probably dont give a shit but does any of you know of a way to get back into an Instagram account? I somehow forgot the account password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
@Dwayne Issac thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Every country had them....a never ending line of Bietel wannabees.......Thankfully Germany later invented her own original brand of alternative rock....It has to be said though...if it hadn't been for Adolf ,who bled the British empire dry , so she couldn't afford conscription anymore....we never might've had The Beatles ,and everything they started....Apart from that ....The Beatles learned their craft during their two year long slog in Hamburg.....So...Gee! for *Germany !* .....
Everyone starts as wannabe, the Beatles were no exception btw. They were a 50s rock cover band in the beginning, by sound and looks. Germany´s late answer to Beatles were arguably Kraftwerk !!
The Rattles my favorite rock group from Germany...... because I

Great! What movie (or TV show) is this from?
I only know that it was a program from ZDF, Second German TV. They have wiped so many old tapes from those days like the BBC.
