John Deere claims its new robotic lawn mower gives a great cut on your lawn while you put your feet up. But for the luxury price tag of £2050, does it really justify the expense?
Did you know she's had Tango for a week and a half?
3 years later and we still have no idea about how long she had the Tango for.

yes, some of us have very large lawns....acre? and work 12 hours per day + Saturday. We are not interested in mowing on Sunday. Ill sit back, plan out Monday, drink a beer, and watch the robot work.

`it does not know when its raining and if it keeps cutting so it will damage the grass?` that means when grass is wet in the UK as it always is cutting season the robotic mower will be only able to cut the grass once per season............what rubbish it is for £2000.My electric mower cuts wet grass with no grass damage.and the mower cost £50.

The thing is stupid what happened to takeing some time getting gas filling the gas tank turning your mower on mowing the lawn the when winter comes around takeing the mower deck off then putting the snow plow on

Lawn not garden. A garden is where you grow flowers and vegetables. Why this isn't in the US? Because we can actually now our own lawns without a robot. That's john Deere UK. But the roots of it here in the USA🇺🇸
That sounds like a great mower, but like all John Deere products you are going to pay a hefty price for it. It is designed for city dwellers with small lawns only and not for the farm/ranch areas where the grass grows larger, and the mowers have to cut so much more.

The Husqvarna Automower is the only Robotic mower currently on the market that can handle inclines. The Automower has also been out for over 20 years now and is well ahead of everyone else as far as charging to work efficiency, handling hills, and quality of cut. In early 2017 the 1,000,000th Husqvran Automower was produced.

Why couldn't John Deer have it check the internet weather report to make sure it isn't raining when it mows. (Or just have a simple moisture sensor on it) ..Seems like a needless mistake on their part.

I've got a Roomba robot vacuum cleaner thing which is great. I liked this... until I heard the price. Guess I'll stick to mowing my own lawn for now!

I've been looking into these because I think the technology is awesome. Of the 3 vids I've watched, everyone refers to their lawn as a garden. I never noticed this difference between American and UK dialect before. but I think it's awesome either way:)

Noel Robert I guess it has a alarm and if connected to your phone it will alert you if it has gone over the boundary line. I don't own these things. I have a Toro mower.

Seems as though JD really needs to put a couple of rain sensors on - It's practically always raining in some spots (Like the UK).

According to the manuals, you would need 60 of these, as they are rated for .25 of an acre!

These things could have been invented 20 years ago. It's the engineers who work out all the technical ideas who deserve the credit, not the person who came up with the initial concept.
