At 15 my first car was a 79 olds cutlass, 305/th200 metric. I owned that car until I was 28. When I sold it 383/th350 built, 12bolt 4.10's. It was fun, I still check the vin every now and again and it's still kickin somewhere in KCMO. If the dude is wanting a 12 bolt, mine came from an old c20, darn near bolted right up. I think there was an inch difference in wheelbase, so .5 on each side. Enough to make it necessary to buy different offset wheels, that was it. Hell I even think the bolt pattern was the same as stock. Good old GM. Basically car leggo's.
I took almost 4 month break from your channel and come back for a couple and still on these 52 half builds just take all the money your putting into all 96 of them and put it into one built motor built trans reliable 1000+ hp car
If its the powersteering pulley thats hitting the gearbox you can use a 2000's grand prix or impala 3.8/3800v6 pulley on it its 3/4" to 1" smaller than the stock truck pulley
Hey! I came across this video bc I'm doing a g.body ls swap. While here something else grabbed my attention, you removed a 200 4R, presumably a BOP. Im looking for one for another project. Is it available for sale?
Hey man been watching you since you had goldy hawn and now I’m doing my own 350 sbc gm with a th350 I have a Holley sniper efi kit QUADRAJET any advice on what mild build I should go with? Not sure what to do yet
That is heavily dependent on the goals of the vehicle you're putting it in. But you can't go wrong with the good ol double hump heads, rpm air gap dual plane intake with the spacer to help the Sniper kit be happy. Idk if the aftermarket flat tappet cams are still questionable or not lol
@@SniderTron3000 as of now it’s completely bone stock and I grabbed the Holley kit because it was a Facebook deal I couldn’t pass up but if I were to plan to just keep it stock for now to be able to slap it in and get it running but I also want to plan out a good 350-400ish hp motor but not sure on what cams to even go with hydraulic or tapper
Idk why you'd bother using the sniper when there's so much more work involved in using it over just running a quadrajet on it since it has a q jet manifold on it apparently already you have to revamp the fuel system and you gotta install O2 sensors and that's just the beginning of a nightmare when a car didn't come fuel injected then it makes no sense to make it fuel injected at least from a cost and labor and time standpoint your not going to get much gains from it especially in horseponies the qjet carb may do better there ok cold starts will be better but not anything else unless you plan on driving to Denver or something but if your not going anywhere w it where it will change elevation to worry about thinner air density then idk why anyone or so many people think fuel injection is the way to go it's not we ran carbs for many many more years w out issues
My 1980 Montecarlo originally had a v6 but when I swapped it out to the 350v8 it was more than we could handle it had over heating issues and fan shroud had to be cut just for the engine to fit being young and stupid I had a friend sale me avgas saying it was like racing fuel I ended up burning the rings trying to run better than high 14s not knowing the stock v6 tranny and the stock rear end was an issue I finally changed the rear end years later with burning oil and all 3.73s help run a high 12 with same v6 tranny was a turbo 350had to sale the car due to a divorce for cash for clunkers and dream about my Montecarlo a lot knowing what I know now I would have done a lot more to it… sorry for the ramble it’s a life story
@@SniderTron3000 I just got 1 from jegs for $800 not for electronic trans hope it’s worth it has a ton of things included will be on my obs Chevy as a semi daily
If you use a th350 from a truck you won’t need to do anything with the driveshaft because they are long tail shaft. You will still have to move the crossmember.
Hey Josh I wanted to connect with you to discuss getting you to do an LS swap for me…I have sent you a couple messages on Instagram…what’s the best way to contact you?
Email is the easiest to keep track of snidertron3000@gmail.com But, I'm admittedly pretty bad at responding to people right away. I'll click on it and start reading it and be like "yeah, I'll remember to respond to this later" and you know how that goes lol

They got the gforce cross member for the LS swap get the one for wat ever transmission you got like 4L60 or 4L80E
Please don't sell the Skylark that's the best car you got you got a lot of work and time in that car it would be crazy to sell it
Man I love that car number 1
If anything sell the camaro!!!
Can't keep em all... Gotta sell to make room for other projects and content is the name of the game
Great video what would the labor be to do this?
nice work 💪💪
With the Terminator not being potted, I'm leery about putting it in the engine compartment. I always mount them inside, somewhere.
I've run a handful of them in the engine bay with no issues. I do still get slightly nervous though lol
@@SniderTron3000 Ok. That's good to know.

The wheels on the 55’ are called Cragar SS/T’s. I still love them. Lol
Nice Cutlass rt there 😎
Hope you get to feeling better soon
Link for the drop springs on the f150
How much are you selling the Skylark for?
I was thinking of posting it for $15k or best offer
Another good one 👍👍
I'm about to swap my 85 cutlass. What headers do you use? It's the last piece of the puzzle for the swap.
These look like they might be some ebay shorties, but I don't know for sure. The Speed Engineering headers fit really well though

I don't unfortunately

Using column shifter?
I was hoping to make it work but they dropped off a B&M ratchet shifter to toss in it
What headers is he running on that ls
I have no idea, they're just some shorties that were dropped off with it
What headers?
Looking to sell the 2004r?
How much for the Pontiac????
The Fiero?
Termina ese fiero amigo! Ya duraste mucho!
I was quoted $26 thousand dollars to swap my engine to a Ls in a 86’ Buick
Why not try a aces jack on Camaro
I want to try the one on the Fiero first and get some experience with it. And I don't want to part out the Fiero again lol

55,Camaro,cutlass and sell the rest. With that money you can finish the 55 & fix whatever needs fixing
He doesn't own a cutlass.
Take care of yourself
Another triangulated 4-link car, great choice for street/strip . There’s a ton of aftermarket support for these cars and they really move out
If you sell the skylark. You'll never forgive yourself. Give your dad the chevelle. You keep the skylark and that can be your kid's first car
I have a megasquirt ecu and ls harness if u do go that way I’ll sell to you and only you cheap
That is crazy tempting lol
8 inches...lol I guessed at least 9
Get feeling better soon don't like them wheels on that Cutlass
