Something that may interest you, even though I use a kayak trailer just like you I also carry 2 sets of wheels that fit in the back of the kayak so well I can keep them there all the time if I wish. My wheels include ties on both sides front and back wheels so I can roll my kayak right into the water under almost any conditions. Once in the water floating I can install my stabilizers the trolling motor drops down through the floor right between my legs and one at a time untie a set of wheels by spinning the kayak. If your not carrying it, you can travel a long way. I had to tell my neighbors it was my emotional support kayak when I was walking around the neighborhood testing and retesting wheel set ups nice video
@SRH420ful haha that's to funny. Great idea. I have some wheels but just 1 set. Sometimes I launch without a trailer. I did the same thing when I was testing out my wheels ð
Thumpr, Good day yesterday in Edgewater and saw a big river Otter in the mangroves, only the 3rd time in all my trips. There's also some big bobcats on that trail. Hope you get to see them some day in your refuse travels.
@neilmaclarty8572 oh I would love to see the rover otters pr bobcats out here. I'm curious if they look similar to the ones I'd find on my property in the cascade mountains. I had some river otters take over the beaver dam in the backyard once. They are some smart animals. I had a real problem with bobcats. Had so many trying to eat my ducks, chickens, and turkeys. Bob cats can sound super mean ðŽ To name a few.... I have seen turkeys. Coyote and hogs in the refuge so far.
@alamanamoose i haven't seen river otters in Florida yet. I used to have a family of them that lived in a beaver dam in my backyard before I moved. They were quite the fishermen ð
@FishingAroundFlorida ð ðĪĢ ya Nelson grabbed a few of the lures you were tossing. The wallmart ones. He tied that on and landed that nice snook in open water. Now, I might have to get a few ð
@FishingAroundFlorida that's super cool. It's got good movement from what I saw....I guess I better go pick some up ð I'll probably forget what they look like when I get there ð ð

Where were the otters? I've seen what looks like a family of four several times down snake creek.
