Great video! Can tell you are in tune with the bodym will steal som knowledge and exercises of you for sure! Having injuries and loads of physio therapy made me so much smarter in the gym and at prehab, just wish I started all that in my 20s and not my 30s 😀
I appreciate that my man! You are probably more educated than me, I just have learned from lots and lots of experience and high level people around me. Thanks for tuning in!
Yooo Trey, I saw you at the Nike outlet a few days ago and got a pic. Sick to see a weight room video come out cause thats definitely my biggest flaw in my game. Love to see it💯🔥
Dude thank you for the content, now we can also have an insight on what basketball players do to strengthen their body, can you provide conditioning / stamina drills that you can do alone as well?
really appreciate this! I've been looking for a basketball specific workout split since I've really struggled with mobility, hip strength and ankle sprain injuries. Will def use this to shape my own splits!
@@takemeserious6772 in Basketball you do a tousands of forward motions while shooting and dribbeling. These motions require your shoulders to rotate inwards and your back to round to a certain degree. To maintain a good posture and avoid injuries over time you have to train the muscles which do the opposite: retract the shoulderblades and rotate the shoulder outwards. Namely, the lower and middle traps, rhomboids, infraspinatus and the rotator cuff. This is especially important when you do exercises like bench press in the weight room that reinforce the imbalance between pushing and pulling movements even more than only playing basketball.
@@k4s461 wow makes alot of sense, sometimes I believe this is why I was such a good shooter b4 I started lifting because I was hunched over due to muscle imbalance , I recently started going to the gym this year my pulling is stronger than my push but I feel as if that is normal
When I found out you are going to play one more season with us, I just felt pure happiness Let's go for another great season and let's show Toney Douglas who the biggest portuguese club is!
great stuff always, if u put a little bit of vlog, like just talking a bit on the camera will be much a complete job, just an idea, the best videos broh!
We coming strong for the season, see you against Real Madrid or sooner in a friendly. How different are your weight workouts from the off season to during the season? More/less explosive more heavy or completely different? Thanks for the videos they really help out!
Hey, why don't you have any balance exercises like single led RDLs, lateral hops? I also noticed you don't have any change of direction/agility ladder work.
Trey I have 3 weeks to improve before the season, what should i focus on: my weakness or my strengths thank you so much for helping me through your content.
What’s your advise to overthink about your teamates that they work hard than you and they get points in games more than you how to focus on my own craft
How do you structure the basketball workouts along with the gym I mean for example I do two basketball workouts and a lift for a typical day this period of the off season
It all depends on what point of my offseason that I am in. During this peak period of my offseason, I was doing atleast one skill workout a day along with playing live 2-3x a week.
What to do to turn from lock down defense player that coaches needs him in defense only to be scorer and have big effect on offense what do I must work on
2 things. If you can’t kick off the shoes and hit RDLs, not sure I can take this seriously anymore. 2, more importantly for you as an athlete, but as stated, Im not taking this seriously anymore… knee CARs are a waste of time and energy relative to open chain and closed chain knee circles.
Dude this is amazing that you post this stuff for free, thank you!!
All for the Atypical community!!!
This was close to perfect Trey, gg on the edit, idea and execution. Minimal fluff, no time wasted getting to the point. Thanks man!

really appreciate this! I've been looking for a basketball specific workout split since I've really struggled with mobility, hip strength and ankle sprain injuries. Will def use this to shape my own splits!
Dont forget to train your upper back (wide rows etc) to counteract your pushing and shooting volume.
Can you explain more what does this mean?

Do you play basketball every day apart from your gym routine?
You should be in nba . Unfortunately nba doesn’t care about skill. They just want super tall big guys .
Are u canadian? You got that canada bball shirt
🏀🏀🏀
What’s your advise to overthink about your teamates that they work hard than you and they get points in games more than you how to focus on my own craft
Have you ever reached out to any NBA teams to see if they want you?
in what days do you do playometrics?
How do you structure the basketball workouts along with the gym I mean for example I do two basketball workouts and a lift for a typical day this period of the off season
It all depends on what point of my offseason that I am in. During this peak period of my offseason, I was doing atleast one skill workout a day along with playing live 2-3x a week.
Thank you for this bro! Can I do this while in-season? Playing amateur games during weekends. Or should I deduct all the sets by 1?
From 🇵🇭
I would adjust it based on how your body feels. Also make sure not to skip rest days.
How much weight on the leg extension isos?
I usually do around 80-90 lbs
how come you didn't do squats ?
do i have to take rest between the mobility prep excersises?
Nope you can power those out for the most part
What to do to turn from lock down defense player that coaches needs him in defense only to be scorer and have big effect on offense what do I must work on
in the schedule of the orizontal power, in the last exercise there is only written 3x6 each arm.
What exercise should i do?
DB Row!
Has anyone received the merch yet?
EU orders were shipped on Friday, US orders will be shipped once they arrive here to me in the US for quality check!
Your hoka shoes are great for running, but bad for lifting.

I appreciate the pointers… I don’t claim expertise, I claim a work in progress. I am sure you are correct, and I’ll adjust for next time haha
