I think you see a lot of legends for sale because it's a stepping stone class. Designed to be a first class for adults or a step up for kids aged out of bandoleros working their way towards full-size cars

they been having 25-30 cars every race down here in cali this year on asphalt. decent travel money and payout
Well, here in Sweden Legends is by far the most popular racing class. Around 60-70 drivers at every race. Have to split them in two groups to meet the track limits! We started thtree years ago with a brand new factory car and ”Made in USA” took on a whole different meaning 😊. But the racing is good so it makes up for it (sort of).
@MrMblixt with that many cars, you should split them into the groups US Legends suggest (youth, master, semipro, and pro)
We do have separate groups for the championship. Junior for the youngsters, Golden Masters for the elderly and Rookie for the newbies. But we are all mixed up, of course, on the starting grid. Your speed in quali desides if you drive A or B heats.
