Her husband's a prize quim, though.

Tony Benn didn't, I mean, he realised it was a pisstake but he didn't think of a witty retort like Virginia Bottomley did, he just cleared off. He should have took the piss straight back.

Virginia Bottomley was the only one who was not offended, good sport.

Has anyone seen the clip of penis running into a sign at the cannes film festival? It is a memory from my childhood and I remember it being super hilarious.

I love this guy! No seen he full version of the Kevin Costner interview for years, Pennis mercilessly followed Costner for 3 days because he got such a reaction.

Michael Howard probably longed to jump into that bulletproof Jag and flee during that famous Paxman interview.

"If we reintroduce 'Capitol Punishment' in this country will that just effect London?" I wish I had put that one in my best of. Brilliant.

Although I'm a wee bit of a Tory myself, that's a pretty sweet anagram.

I would have asked him if he threatened to overrule him!

To be fair at least Michael Howard appears to be smiling and chuckling in the car so I think even he found it funny. I’ve met him and he is actually far more pleasant and humorous than his dour public image. Don’t agree with his political views but quite a nice bloke to chat to. Bottomley was a good sport too it was Benn who was totally humourless.

He definitely has a sense of humor. When Howard was leader of the opposition he'd roast Blair every PMQs.

I think Dennis threatened to overrule Michael. And Michael did'nt like the taste of his own medicine.

I would have expected Tony Benn to have more of a sense of humour about this sort of thing. I'm a bit disappointed by that actually. I thought he'd put in a witty remark or two, like Virginia Bottomley did. Michael Howard, on the other hand, behaved exactly as you'd expect. Was this back when he was Home Secretary?
P.S. When I played the audio preview of this, it stopped after "I thought he'd put in". I laughed like mad.

@rfitzhen100 Tony Benn is the only hope we have in today's society. He speaks the truth! very humble guy. I wish we had one world leader who was half as good as Tony Benn he is by far the only person who went on BBC and called them out for their "anti palestine" support. Very great guy.

Considering it says BBCWorldwide, you think the picture quality would be better, it looks like it was taken off an old VHS, taped off the TV.

Now here's the thing I don't get. If you all think he's so hilarious then why aren't you pushing this vid or any of the other related vids of him to the top by sharing with other people that you know WILL like it and thus will add more positive posts and reviews to this?
Then it would reach an even wider audience.

Anthony Wedgwood Benn, say no more!! Howard, he certainly showed what type he is, Virginia Bottomley, she most certainly has a sense of humour, pity about the mixed gender wards in hospitals.

  • @blue3lf
    @blue3lf 16 ปีที่แล้ว

Not necessarily, I don't find a lot of one-liners that funny either.
Humor is good if you enjoy both the joke and the delivery of said joke.
Everyone's allowed to enjoy different things and that doesn't make them any dumber for it.
