    I agree with the visual paintings of the muscles it really helps a lot great movement for the upper trap I was also educated to fold the arm at the back but I stopped it instead better to put the rolled or folded little towel some people cannot cope with that thank you Maria

    Great video Maria. Is all this work that you’ve demonstrated done dry? What do you use cream?

    • @MassageTherapeutics915
      @MassageTherapeutics915  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the compliment! I do use oil once I start the massage. I do the dry work first like skin rolling & fascia work. For the sake of the video & the drawing sometimes I don’t use the oil so it doesn’t smear!

    Your client has such a beautiful back I just love how you massage her back with a decent amount of pressure and love I bet she loves it a lot!! How come you massaged the bottom of her occipital lobe by massaging up with your fingers tips towards the beginning of the video? Aren't you going to hurt their head and occipital lobe?

    • @MassageTherapeutics915
      @MassageTherapeutics915  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is good to massage the occipital lobe because we have so many muscles that attach there. Theres 8 suboccipitals & you have the trapezius, Splenius Capitis etc etc. It’s actually a cause of tension headaches so it’s very important to massage this area to bring blood flow to the muscles. It doesn’t hurt and if it does you back off to the tolerance level your client can handle. It’s a gentle & easy movement across the occipitals

    • @SuperDavidBrothers
      @SuperDavidBrothers ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well that's great to know thanks!! I always love to think of others and also think about how they feel when they get massaged just so that people don't massage them too hard or too deeply on their skin.

      Because I didn’t want the paint to rub off. I do use oil after I do the skin rolling & warm up the fascia. 🤗
