I agree with the visual paintings of the muscles it really helps a lot great movement for the upper trap I was also educated to fold the arm at the back but I stopped it instead better to put the rolled or folded little towel some people cannot cope with that thank you Maria
Hi!!! I have to preform 8 Deep Tissue massages today! Thank you, I will employ some of your knowledge and share with my fellow LMT's! Love and healing to all! ❤
@@MassageTherapeutics915 I will!!!! It is a lot but I'm a stickler for body mechanics. I yell at my coworkers all of the time for using improper mechanics 🤣
Maria, these techniques are very similar to what we are studying at the moment. Where did you source your techniques from? Do you have any favourite literature on nmt techniques? Thank you 😊❤
Congrats on your studies. I did take the neuromuscular course twice. I just incorporate it into my routine. It depends on what the client needs & I just spend extra time on that area.
Thanks for the compliment! I do use oil once I start the massage. I do the dry work first like skin rolling & fascia work. For the sake of the video & the drawing sometimes I don’t use the oil so it doesn’t smear!
Thank you so much ❤😊 I wanted to ask you if possible to teach about kyphosis massage... the muscles involved in the problem and how to massage them... Thank you ❤😊
Your client has such a beautiful back I just love how you massage her back with a decent amount of pressure and love I bet she loves it a lot!! How come you massaged the bottom of her occipital lobe by massaging up with your fingers tips towards the beginning of the video? Aren't you going to hurt their head and occipital lobe?
It is good to massage the occipital lobe because we have so many muscles that attach there. Theres 8 suboccipitals & you have the trapezius, Splenius Capitis etc etc. It’s actually a cause of tension headaches so it’s very important to massage this area to bring blood flow to the muscles. It doesn’t hurt and if it does you back off to the tolerance level your client can handle. It’s a gentle & easy movement across the occipitals
Well that's great to know thanks!! I always love to think of others and also think about how they feel when they get massaged just so that people don't massage them too hard or too deeply on their skin.
Yes we’re getting equipment for that next! We work with what we have because all of the equipment is expensive & no donations. It all comes out of our pocket
Thank you for painting the muscles for these videos!!!
You are very welcome!!!!
Great technique Maria 👍🏻 thanks for making all of us better massage nerds 🙏🏻🥰🇩🇰
Yes that’s exactly why I like to share!!! So we can all be better massage nerds!!! Glad you got it 🤗

Great technique .it realse the muscle so much .
Can u do something about cellulite massage and lymphatic drainage
I don’t know about cellulite massage. That’s adipose tissue and as far as I learned you can’t get rid of it permanently with just massage.
ciao maria, saluti dall'italia,muy agradecido.🤝
Ciao e benvenuto nel mio canale! Molto grato anche per il vostro supporto!!

Maybe the cameraman could be positioned over top so that we could actually see what you’re working on

Hello madam
Hello 👋
How comes your giving her a massage with no oil or lotion?wouldn't that cause irritation? I don't know so I'm seeking knowledge 😅
Because I didn’t want the paint to rub off. I do use oil after I do the skin rolling & warm up the fascia. 🤗
