I'm just tickled with this update! I'd tried some time back to print then cut my own personally stamped images and had one heck of a time accomplishing it. This update will make that quite easy and it allows us to utilize the many rubber/acrylic stamps that we have in our stashes :). Yay Cricut!!!
I love this video. You do a great job explaining. Just wondering if you can do a video explaining how to upload a purchased template from etsy or where ever and upload to a tablet or phone?
Lorrie, thanks for sharing, this looks like an amazing feature for my iPad. I download files all the time from LoveSVG, but I always download them on my computer, are we able to download onto an iPad to save as PNGs?
When I got to that site and click something. Out of my 4 choices only the last two choses show up. 3rd has a black background and the 4th has white. When i go save it to ipad or screenshot it.... it will only let me save as print then cut. The cut image showing is nothing put a black screen
Hi Lorrie, love your videos. I credit you for teaching me how to use my Cricut! I came across something I wanted to do on a birthday card yesterday that I can’t figure out how to do it. There was a word that came on a SVG file and I wanted to put a shadow around the word. I couldn’t enlarge a copy because the lines wouldn’t line up. Is there a way to add a shadow to an existing word?
Great video but for some reason my preview image (in the upper right corner) is a plain black square, not the actual image. Any thoughts on why this may be?

I’m really, really confused. After you name the image Dino, you say that you can choose, cut image, or cut and print image, but you never select either! I’m trying to study your video to figure out why I can only get my Cricut to cut out a box around the image instead of being able to cut out just the image.
You can just go to the App Store and click updates at the bottom, you shouldn't have to delete the app and re-install. I'm not sure, but I think you could lose saved projects if you completely uninstalled. I just updated my app and the new features are present. Through the ID share.
Stephanie Schultz you are correct. However, it didn’t work for me that time so I had to do what did which was reinstall the app. You only lose projects saved to your device. I save all of my projects to the cloud. I didn’t lose any of those
It should only “bleed”on the edges which is where it cuts (it will not look fuzzy once you cut it. If the Insides of the image are also fuzzy (bleed), it’s because you didn’t flatten.
Silhouette trace and remove is far easier god knows why cricut have made that feature so difficult. Image if your design had a a million pieces you needed to get rid of.

Melissa Rodriguez the preview window now shows a black outline of the area to be cut.

I somewhat agree depending on the image. In some cases Design Space is much easier. Keep in mind this video is from 2017.
