When HR or your boss starts a conversation with you in a meeting they set up " We had a discussion about . . . ." you know you are about to have a lot of free time on your hands.
As a foreman in construction if you are 5 min late you might as well not show up at all. I am usually there 10-15 min early and need to plan out who will do what and how much we can get done. If your late then I don't know if I can depend on you to do what I need done? Over a period of about 25 yearsI have only had two or three guys I just had to flat out fire for always late.
Exactly, but "your" and "you're" are different words with different meanings. I hope you pay more attention to detail on the job than you do in your writing.

On a number of occasions at midday it has suddenly struck me, " Hey its my Birthday today". Thats how little men care about birthdays, because they are a no win non special day.
lol haven't celebrated my birthday since i was 16, so maybe you are on to something. Did get a bar of chocolate at 16 though, thats something. And my bank sends me an emaile to congratulate me every year.
@@sam-psonsmith9951 I always have a chuckle on Fathers Day, we go eat out and I pay for my own Fathers Day bill, even though my wife works. LOL, men are screwed.
I don't think that's a guy thing, i've only celebrated one birthday as an adult (because my family surprised me), but the father's day thing breaks my heart, kids see all that...
@@danielle9825 i wouldn't be so sure about that. sure some women might be like that, but most of the adult women i know celebrate their birthday every year and get pretty mad about it if their friends forget.
I used to work in a call center, and I would always show up 30 minutes early so that I could get in a good walk around the parking lot, make my coffee, and get myself ready for the day. When it was time to log in, I was already sitting at my desk with my finger boys over the keyboard. Everybody else was rushing in at the last minute all hurried and flustered, and the first half of their day was basically chaos, whereas my day started off great and my numbers were always good.
That's crazy. In my job 5min is okay as long as you stay 5 min after your shift, but if sth happen and you know that you are going to be over 15m late you should at least call your immediate supervisor to let him know what's going on...and what is that birthday "rule"😂😂😂😂
Her "I'll be there tomorrow" means she's telling them she doesn't consider herself fired and she's coming in to actually work. I would livd to have been a fly on the wall to listen in when she found out she really was fired. I wonder if the police had ti be called.
I was an area manager for a call center ( giant corporation) and the majority of employees were women. I would hire women 30 yrs old or above. The headaches of hiring younger women was not worth it.
LOL! The entitlement is out of this world!

Oh, that's my birthday, send the 10 year old.
well yeah, be early, you never know how traffic or bus or whatever is gonna be, always leave at least 30 min extra.

Its best to prepare to be at work at least 5 mins before you “clock in” just to alleviate some anxiety
