It’s called a fake zoom because the transition makes it seem as if it’s fully zooming into the character. Where as it’s actually just 2 different clips put together with a transition to make it look like a “fake zoom”
Hi, I have a question? Is the fake zoom transition possible with adjustment layers? I dont know the difference between those two things. That is why I ask.
A null layer is like an adjustment layer except you don’t apply effects onto it, it’s used to move the layer you link it to in terms of scaling and position and it doesn’t make your pc work hard for it as well if that makes sense
@@elmokelmu basically renders faster and you have more control over the zoom and the movement in general compared to adding a effect to the actual clip
😂The quck sound in the last
It's one of the transitions I've been looking for and couldn't find, thanks buddy
keep it up, I want more transition from you 💙
I didn't know u can move nulls so that it zooms in another spot 😭 i used to keyframe the positions 😂😂 good video keep it up ❤❤
Yeah you I use nulls for zooming in and camera zoom in some situations
@@enraged_ae its useful if the video is based on the zooming transition itself , but null wont work everywhere as he said
cyu in the next video ❤
nice video the more yk the better,i was stuch at only using directional blur and transform options cause it was easy and fast but this looks hard
Nice video bro please keep doing more video like this.
Nice and easy!
Fake zoom?
Wouldnt it be better if you just used one null across the two clips so that the movement is continuous?
I’m not sure if it works like that but you can try it
why did you call it fake zoom lol its just a normal zoom

if you use different effects to try to recreate the same thing it will be a lot harder but you can recreate it for sure just takes more steps.
use blurmocurves
Im learninh AE, can someone tell me what the null layer does? Why couldnt I put the zoom on the clip itself?

@@enraged_ae Ah, so the upside from using them is that rendering the project afterwards then needs less computing power?

@@enraged_aealright, cheers bro. I'll try and start using null layers then.
this is a real zoom cuz ur using scale...?
dude thats a zoom transition not a fake zoom
this is not called fake zoom plz first leran diff between fake zoom and zoom in out i am not disrespect or anythink just u know but keep up nice work
