Exploring Zion National Park with NO CROWDS?!

- I got lucky on this day that I visited Zion National Park. There were no crowds of people or traffic on this day, so I was able to enjoy this place peacefully on this day.

Thank you for showing the beauty of southern UT. I was there only briefly, as I didn't have time to explore it. This reminds me of when I first entered AZ from UT. Previously I wasn't impressed with the idea of seeing a big rock, but when I saw it, I had to pull over and take pictures and videos. It almost made me cry. I felt so small. I tend to believe that AZ, UT, and NM all have similar beauty.
I became aware of Zion years ago when i got a Nat'l Geo book "12 LEAST visited National Parks". Zion, Arches & Canyonlands were all in there. How things have changed! Southern Utah is 1 of my favorite places i've ever been.
I will never be able to see these places in person, but thankful that you can share this with us. Keep doing what you do. 😊
Zion is one of the most beautiful places on this planet and my favorite of the National Parks. Thank you for taking us there along with you. Surely good for the mind and soul. And cheers to Jeff! He may be absent physically but he is clearly not forgotten. 🌈 Stay safe!

Thank you so much for making this video and sharing the special hike with Jeff. Before my mother passed from pancreatic cancer a few years ago, she got to hike with my father in Sedona and with me in Hocking Hills. It just makes those places even more special because it was special to them.
My husband and I LOVE Zion! We can’t wait to return and camp there.

Hands down your BEST vlog ever Jeepsy! Your ability to show us what you are seeing is always getting better & better. I am partial to ZION … have logged many miles on all of the mapped trails. I have spent literally hundreds of hours in Zion Park. It was my go-to refuge when I lived in St George. The peace 1:28 1:28 1:28 of Checkerboard Mesa helped these old EMT nerves in a way no other place nearby could. I pray you find the peace you need right now.

Wonderful and magical video! I’ve been going to Zion for over 30 years and enjoy it just as much every time. I used to go on a whim and be able to find a good campsite but you need reservations now. It is still an incredibly magical place for me too.

Zion is in my back yard & have never been there. I've lived in Utah 64 years & I'm still discovering it 💕 I'm 20 minutes from the desert & 20 from a mountain lake ❣️

I'm sorry on your fathers passing . I lost my father to pancreatic cancer also back in October of 2022. Eff cancer.

I just remembered a story my mom told over and over, I got so excited for the “Dunnels”, (Dad is a native Utahan), my big brother and I were toddlers in the back seat, he had a chocolate chip cookie and we’d shout, “We’re going through the Dunnels”, and after exiting the last one, I had the chocolate chip cookie in my hands. I miss my big brother - he was my best friend, too.
So glad this is your forever connection to Jeff. He probably rode shotgun on this day. Sending my best, Sarah.

Zion, Bryce Canyon and yellow stone are my favorite parks. I usually go in the summer but one of these days we will go in the winter to see zion in the snow. Every time I see it it is breath taking. Thanks for sharing this with us 👍 ❤️

Really nice video showcasing Zion! Nice you got to enjoy it without the crowds. Was fortunate to draw a permit to hike angels landing so my nephew and I got to expierence that several years ago. Always something new to see in that park. Keep up the great videos, been enjoying them since you started!

Sarah, Zion will forever hold a place in my heart as well, because of its unique beauty! I have always loved going thru the tunnel and as I excited, all I could say is WOW,,just WOW how majestic!! While hiking there I saw many herds of mountain sheep walking along the cliffs and on the redrock boulders!! Oh and your right, the best time to go is when all the summer crowds are gone!! I'm not sure I would be brave enough to go it alone. I do want to say that the only thing that changed my life is JESUS. No I'm not gonna preach to you. But I pray that you do find the LORD in your travels. Maybe you already have. Isaiah 54:17 says no weapon formed against me shall prosper. Those window openings in the Zion tunnel were used to dump out rocks during construction. I’ve always wanted to stop and look out the windows, but no stopping allowed in the tunnel. Looks like you and little one are doing well. Enjoy!
@@MOTrav and that is because many years ago at least one person fell to their death because at one point in time the windows were open and not sealed shut. And people were able to stop their car get out and look out over the canyon.
I believe as well they help for ventilation from the vehicle exhaust fumes.

I stumbled across your video about a month ago and I think it was about solo camping or something. Can’t remember now but I think you’re amazing and your journey and your stories are awesome. Thank you for sharing. That’s not always easy. I moved to Utah almost 3 years ago and I’m still amazed.I’ve been Zion. many times and you never get tired. It’s incredible Maybe sometime I’ll run into you out in my travels. I like to car camp I’m actually thinking of moving near hurricane anyway I wish you the best prayers are with you❤
I've only been to Zion National Park once in my life. The Mt Carmel tunnel is the only thing I remember. I was watching an old movie that was shot in Zion, in the movie they were going trough the tunnel, I was watching g it with my mom, and I asked her where that tunnel was because I remembered it. She was astonished I remembered that trip to Zipn with her dad when I was four years old.
If you're still in southern Utah be sure to stop by Houston's Trail end restaurant in Kanab. Has been there for a very long time and they have some of the best biscuits and gravy biscuits and gravy. Kanab used to be called little Hollywood because of all of the western films made there and if you go to Parry Lodge you can see where they all stayed. I served Jodie Foster breakfast there when they were filming Maverick. And I used to work at the store that's just outside of the entrance. It used to be a gift shop and a Mexican restaurant that was family owned and I lived above it.
Just subscribed to your channel, you're such a beautiful soul, sorry for your loss, time will heal but memories are timeless.
