Genna as a cosmetologist your hair shedding is perfectly normal and because we do lose so much hair daily and due to you having long hair, it’s probably just getting caught in your hair and not falling out onto the ground. You have hundreds of loose hair caught in your hair all the time. We also experience shedding similarly to animals, so there are times of the year in which you will shed more. Hormones and stress also play a big part in shedding but I promise you it’s normal ❤

We do consume contests at my job - I’m not hugely big on doing it this year BUT seeing the costume come together with or without the sweater - I love it 😻 I want to make the little loaf cats and put them on the keychains. I’m not super sure if I want to tackle crocheting a sweater 😅 I’d just get myself a cardigan that I really like. 🙃 we’ll see… Yes I also shed. I think I shed worse than my own animals it’s aggravating 😒 and losing a lot of strands make me sad too 😑

I like how, because of your fear of working with a written sweater pattern, you’re actually making things more difficult for yourself. You should check out patterns that have already made sizes, then you don’t have to do any math. All you have to do is a gauge swatch and then they have all the steps written out for you. MJ’s off the hook is one of my favorites and she has video tutorials to go with the patterns. Also, her patterns are free on her blog if you don’t want to buy the PDF

I have to take folic acid supplements to help counteract hair loss due to meds. It has for sure helped over the last 20 yrs. You are young and healthy so maybe up the foods that are rich in folic acid. Might be worth mentioning to your doc. Now back to the video 😊
For you hair loss: people do have seasons where their hair loss is greater. Ask your doctor do labs to check your hemoglobin and your ferritin. I have hair loss, and every time I do, my lab levels are low.
