I knit the Salty Days sweater a year ago and I never noticed any mistakes in the pattern 😭. I didn't even realize that the diamonds had a mistake in them, I took my sweater out and my diamonds look correct, I think the points are off by one stitch. I always assume that I misread the pattern, I;m wrong before the pattern is wrong. I'm the opposite. I loved seeing youre version, I haven't seen a lot of darker Salty Days sweaters, I knit mine in black and I love it. I need to pull it out for the fall season. I wish I has made mine more over sized but I love it. I love your version, I knit mine in about 2 weeks of constant knitting. One week is impressive, my hands would literally fall off. 🥰
Yea the way she explains that section isn't clear for what she actually wants us to knit sadly 😭 thank you so much!! I haven't seen many in darker colors either which is why I wanted to do it and omg a black oneee, I know that looks amazing! One week was a crazy challenge, not doing that again haha

I knitted recently this sweater, I am sorry but there are no mistakes in the pattern. Before working the second lace section, she explains how to work a specific row in the chart and it is an explanation for all sizes. If you follow the written instruction then you should not have any problem.
Clearly I also knitted the sweater recently and I read the pattern so I saw that she explained that specific row. Following her exact instructions messed up the diamond pattern for me. If you look through the hashtag on Instagram and projects on Ravelry, you’ll see that there are TONS of finished sweaters with the diamonds messed up. She even had to put a correction on her Ravelry page to clarify that specific part, but didn’t send out a new version of the pattern. So I know what I’m talking about, which means it is incorrect. You don’t correct something if it was right to begin with.

I am also thinking that I bought the pattern recently, so maybe my version it is the one without the mistake?
