    What about the WiFi on board? Do they provide complimentary WiFi or we need to purchase the package? If we are using the roaming service on our phone, does it works? I mean is the connection good?

    • @WanderBunnies
      @WanderBunnies  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Good question. Complimentary WiFi is Not provided. You will need to purchase the package - and you can do so via RC's cruise planner app.
      The roaming service will work only at the stops, the signal is very weak or there’s no signal when the ship is cruising.

    Awesome and detailed introduction of the ship! Thank you so much! I have some questions below and hope you can share your experience & thoughts,
    1. I have book the balcony room and as I know the room are pick by the ship for us, how likely are we going to get the obstructed view? And if we are going to check in early will it help us to get better room view?
    2. I do not have a reservation number / cruise ID yet. I do not know when we will get it. I am not sure when you purchase this and how long it take for you to receive your reservation number / cruise ID? Without that I can't view the price of all the drinks packages? Which drink packages do you recommend and do you remember how much was it?
    3. I know that there is no WIFI on the ship and do you think its necessary to purchase one?
    4. I could not find where to purchase the 'Key', is it only when you get your cruise ID then you can purchase the Key?
    5. Where do we get the unopened bottles of wine that was showed in your video? And are we able to sneak in some junk food and alcoholic drinks?
    6. Any idea which credit card is good to use on cruise since we need to pay them in the end of the cruise?

    • @WanderBunnies
      @WanderBunnies  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there and thank you!
      Here are answers to some of your questions. The rest we’ll try to answer in a bit.
      1. If your room is on Level 9 or above you should get unobstructed views. Arriving early won’t matter as it depends on which floor you’re on.
      3. Wifi is not needed in our opinion. If you have data roaming, it’ll work when the ship docked.
      5. You are allowed to bring two bottles of wine per room (no other alcohol)

    Can you share the total cost of the trip per head ? What is the best time to plan this trip?

    • @WanderBunnies
      @WanderBunnies  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you!
      Our room cost was around SGD 1802 for whole trip which included complimentary dinning areas, activities and entertainment that we have mentioned in the video.
      You have to pay additional for alcoholic drinks, speciality restaurants and some activities.
      Given Singapore and Malaysia as location, it should be okay to visit most of the year.

    Hi did you also need a VISA to visit malaysia and thailand? Is it included in the cruise or do they help get the VISA? Thanks :)

    • @WanderBunnies
      @WanderBunnies  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Sanya, once you board the ship, they will keep your passport and issue a seapass card. That card will be used when you want to get down on various ports in Malaysia and also used to board the ship again. So you don’t need a VISA.
      We’ve only been to MY with the cruise so cannot say for certain for Thailand but my guess is, the process will be similar.

    Hey, it’s a very informative video!! I really enjoyed watching it.
    I booked the same cruise package of 3N/4D.
    I had some basic queries.
    1. Cruise departure timing is 4 pm, so by what time we should reach at the dock?
    2. What are the documents required to board the cruise?
    3. As you guys mentioned, I also had 1 stop at Penang. So there no requirement of any Malaysian Visa? Only Indian passport with Singapore Visa will sufficient?
    4. What are the things we should know before boarding to cruise?
    Please do let me know for above questions
    Thanks !!

    • @WanderBunnies
      @WanderBunnies  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Parth, thank you so much! Please see answers below:
      1. If I’m not wrong you can select your boarding time slot so you can plan accordingly
      2. Your passport and Singapore Visa/EP/DP
      3. Correct, no need for MY visa. The cruise will keep your passport and issue a Sea pass card, which will be scanned when you disembark and board again in Penang
      4. It’s similar to boarding an airplane, so the usual similar to when you’re at the airport

    Would love if you could help me out with bit of info:
    1. I saw you had your helper with you in the trip. Was your helper accommodated in the same room or you went for a separate room for her?
    2. How did you manage baby food? Did you take baby food along from home? Is it allowed?
    3. Did you need to get any visa for this trip? Or it's not needed? We are EP holders in Singapore with Indian passport.
    4. Did you have to perform check-in online?

    • @WanderBunnies
      @WanderBunnies  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Abhijeet 🙏🏼
      Sure thing, pls see below:
      1. We booked a separate room for helper. This was lower cost state room interior. A price we paid for convenience 😜
      2. Yes we took some easy to prepare baby food like Cerelac, Oats and Formula and used electric kettle in the room to heat water to prepare. In the buffet restaurant, small milk cartons, fruits, rice, yogurt, eggs is all included so that worked out for the kid.
      3. We did not need a visa for Malaysia. After boarding, the cruise people held our passport and issued a seapass card that had a barcode. We used that to get off and back on the ship at the stops.
      4. Yes we did online. But they still check details and docs at the Marina Bay cruise center itself.

    Nice review covering all the critical aspects. The point of visa not needed for Malaysia, was an eye opener. Being an Indian, normally we do need visa for Malaysia. Few queries: We are planning to cruise next year in Sep (2023), so, how much typically in advance, do we book to get the best deal?. If we buy wifi package on board, does it allow whatsapp calls?.

    • @WanderBunnies
      @WanderBunnies  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you Rajiv. We went in September, but booked cruise only in mid august, as they had offers going on. So I guess booking in 1-2 months in advance will be good enough. With wifi package you will be able to do WhatsApp calls based on what I have read. However we didn’t take the package, as it’s expensive close to 50$ a day. Rather we took data plans with our operator and when you are docked at various ports near city in Malaysia, your data plans works perfectly fine and it’s 1/10th of cost. It’s also good excuse to enjoy and disconnect 😀

      Even I had been looking for an answer on the Visa part. Called up the Royal Caribbean guys a few times but never got a clear answer. Your vlog really helps address this point. Looking forward for our trip to Penang and Phuket in May 2023. Thank you for all the information you shared. Yours was the most descriptive of all the vlogs I had watched on this topic.

      @@mahendrakesari2029Hope you had nice time crusing. As you have travelled recently, could you please let me know if Visa for Malaysia is indeed not required? When contacted RC they have not given any clear answer and suggested to contact Embassy

    • @mahendrakesari2029
      @mahendrakesari2029 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@vinayteza1604 we took the 4 nights cruise covering Penang and Phuket. For Penang, since the cruise docks only for under 24 hours, by Malaysian law, there is no visa required. You could get out, go around the city and come back using your sea-pass. However, for Phuket, even though the cruise docked for under 24 hours, Thai law requires every foreign national (who requires visa) to have a visa even if they don't want to go out and explore Phuket. They charged 85 USD per visa which was exorbitant. Hope this helps. However, they do check while boarding if you already have a Thai Visa. So, if you don't want to spend 120 SGD per Thai Visa, you may want to apply for Thai Visa from the embassy, well in advance.

    • @WanderBunnies
      @WanderBunnies  ปีที่แล้ว

      You’re welcome, Ratika.
      Dec to Feb tend to be more pleasant in comparison.
      However, the ship is air conditioned with several indoor activities. If you plan the outdoor activities in the mornings / evenings it should be alright too in our point of view.

      You can either purchase per day packages which provides unlimited drinks throughout the day. This can be purchased from the cruise planner app 72 hours before the cruise start - or - you can purchase the same during the cruise itself. If you purchase before you board you will get some discount. Typical package that I have seen is between 60-90 US dollars + 18% gratuity per day.
      You can also buy individual drinks which start roughy from 9 US$ for a beer and higher for other drinks. Do note everything is charged in USD. You can bring your own wine during boarding as well. 2 bottles per state room. Only wine is allowed no other alcohol if you BYOB.
