It was a year back when I came across Hina on the internet and started digging about her cuz she talked about Civil Service but after heading to her instagram I became a fan of her after seeing her opinions and thoughts and her approach to certain things which are delibrately excluded from the conversation in masses which is very alarming in a country like Pakistan knowing the fact that there's a problem but rather than correcting the mistake we've started bashing the people who're working to correct it just to satisfy ourselves and our ego by making us look correct. Great Work Both of You

It's not as black and white as you've put it. There are problems in most South Asian countries and I consider myself to be relatively left leaning but I have to admit that most left leaning or so called liberal personalities in Pakistan bash Pakistan proudly while claiming to want to correct things. I absolutely disagree with right wing obsession with refusing to point out our faults so that's not where I am coming from. However, when so called liberal newspaper's heads invite Indian actors and politicians to their daughters weddings, they themselves invite suspicion and ridicule especially when said institutions have a history of not paying the salaries of their own workers which is swiftly brushed under the carpet. When Asma Jahangir wore saffron in India instead of standing up for her leftist ideals in support of Kashmiri women, she chose to embrace openly xenophobic personalities in India, it cannot be simply ignored because she's not a right wing mouthpiece. Madam supported PPP's corruption till the end just because of her association with Benazir and like I said, I cannot support such people in good conscience even if I agree with some of the things they say. They lend credence to right wing political parties and their problematic politics by embracing those who've internationally stood up against Pakistan for nefarious reasons. Unfortunately left leaning politics in this country has become reduced to 'hindustan se yaarana' which I am vehemently against. I don't support wars at all but I am sick of the silence from the so called liberal quarters when India threatens to nuke and starve us. Our liberal commentators suddenly become awfully quiet. They absolutely should point out the issues in this country to make it better. But if they support those who call for the destruction of this country and have ties with them, they're not in fact, liberals, they're opportunistic hypocrites.

@@aamnahere6250 I think that you've taken my remarks out of context. First off I believe that there's no one above Pakistan, the State itself especially not an individual or a group doesn't matter which side the choose either left wing or right wing and secondly there's no way that we'd call someone loyal whose views or actions contradict with Pakistan's policy or harm Pakistan's interests and one more thing that's worth mentioning here is that what we've got to do to address things like these by educating people from both sides i.e. both left and right wings so that there's an atmosphere of social acceptability for the other group rather than bashing each other to promote foreign interests either unknowingly or knowingly but for that it is of utmost importance that we teach the people what the state narrative is and how we can add value to it with our positive input if we really want to change things on certain grounds rather than building a bubble around us and the reason why I gave her these remarks that she was doing the exact same thing bcz she never bashed Pakistan but in fact she pointed out the problematic things in our society and her narrative was also alligned with the state narrative. And in the end I as a student would love to exchange opinions through healthy conversations and would love to learn things from you as well

It was great to gain insight into her life (and generally other people in Pakistan) when they choose between crossroads and how society perceives them and their decisions. I am happy to hear a mature and informed conversation between both of you, unmarred from polarized emotional viewpoints. From a realistic point of you, it is not very common in Pakistan. Thank you Muzammil and Hina.

I will give my honest opinion. CSS is not any other exam, it is a competition, and only the top 350 or 370 will get a call for the interview. Why such a low percentage? Because if 20000 appear in CSS and 1800 clear the written examination. Still, the top 500 would up be called for an interview because the available slots are not more than I guess 280. So if you want to clear CSS then prepare for the worst. Do not just think about clearing the written examination but beating the rest of the candidates. Self COnfidence, perseverance, and hard work, and remember there is not any shortcut.

We need to liberate men from the shakels of Mehar and Nan Nafqa.
We should legally impose financial responsibilities on women.
Aurat apna kamaye aur apnay ikhrajat khud uthaye.
btw, in khaatoon ka inkay shohar ki zindagi mein kiya contribution hai? yeah apnay shohar ko kiya provide krti hain? in ka role kiya hai apnay shohar ki zindagi mein? insay in kay shohar ko kiya faidah hai aur inko aur yeah apnay shohar k liye kiya krti hain? even if ek aurat empower hojaye but as a wife woah rehti ek tumour aur parasite hi hai aek mard ki zindagi mein.
I wish her best of luck.

Contribute financially and bring money to the table.
Well financiall responsibility tu abhi bhi nhi hai aurtein k kandhon par, bheegmangon ki tarah mehar aur nan nafqa leingi.
i don't understand the part where women claim that they want to be financially independent and empowered. If we want to empower women then our first step should be towards eliminating legal and social obligations of financially providing women that is being imposed on men. We need to liberate men from the shakels of Mehar and Nan Nafqa.

I really like the conversation specially on css because of my interest and the life of her in education that her family constantly concern about her and help her in english tenses and the exams and not stopping in any phase and continue to grow and chossing different fields it doesn't matter i think every parent should train his child in studies so that they know where does their child stand it is really fascinating that she attemps so many exams mcat ,css and dental and now again going ahead for another one to grow specially as a girl in pakistan where most of the parents thinks that graduation is enough for her and get to her marry i think her gardians also play a very important role for her to allow her and help her for growing no thinking that she is a girl and doesn,t need so much it is a amzing podcast keep it up please bring more like this

Lots and lots of good points in this podcast, love to listen to these while I'm doing routine work. @Muzammil one of the best points: about how a lot of our actions within our private and public lives are performative, hence insincere to a certain degree, and being aware of these will help us to avoid these and be sincere!
