An old school classic right here! We sure don't get games like this anymore... One of my favourite shooters from the PS2/Xbox era. It was one of the only games to get banned in the UK due to it's violence and had to be censored by the BBFC. This video will show the original uncensored version. I've stuck to 1080p for this walkthrough as 4K makes the game's HUD and comic-style captions so small you can't read them (the game wasn't designed for high resolutions...). A gem from the past and still the only decent Punisher game we ever got.

I think one of the things people kinda disliked about this game were the boss battles, that’s what had me aggravated with the game the most. Like the missions were fun but when you reached a boss that was a literal bullet sponge it just made the pacing stop to a crawl.

They should've gave T.J another Crack @ being the punisher, even though John Berenthal was perfect with the series on Netflix. A new game would be sick with JB voicing a new game. Let's go Insominac. Make it so.

I honestly have no idea how many times I've replayed this game!!! Absolutely one of my all-time favorite third person shooters. I miss the days when games were so damn replayable. Nowadays, what we get are essentially bloated, extremely-padded, 1000-hour time drains that tire you so much you'd never want to revisit 'em ever again. Also, way too many modern games don't even allow the player to access a chapter/level select of any sort. And, just like one commenter down here already said, I really wish companies like Volition and Marvel still had balls. Characters like Punisher/Frank Castle deserve better than what they're getting lately.
It's a game of it's time and a great throwback to when action games were daring and took risks. (Also third-person shooters were all the rage in the mid-2000s). You're right about the replay value, to unlock all the perks and to achieve Gold Medals in every mission thanks to scoring system. 👍

I guess it's a good opportunity for comedic death scenes and writing some funny dialogue every time the character dies. I don't remember what happens in this one as I haven't died in ages. 💀

maybe it's just a funny thought, but I do hope that there's a rise of a bunch of indie Third Person Shooter games with 2000's graphics aesthetic (if that makes sense lol) like the rise of indie boomer shooter FPS in the past 5-6 years. indie games that were inspired by the games like Max Payne 1&2, Dead To Rights 1&2, Total Overdose, Psi Ops, the 3d Grand Theft Auto Games, Saints Row 1&2, Mercenaries 1&2, Stranglehold, Red Dead Revolver, and of course this one.

You can still get retail copies for PS2, Xbox and PC on Amazon. That’s where I got mine. Sadly it’s not on Steam or GOG :/

The ways you can utilize physics in this game is awesome. Very similar to Half Life 2, but with the story layout with cut scenes like Battle Field 3.

One of the few games where you could play and feel like a superhero while going on a rampage and it's still fun. Had a lot of fun mowing fuckers down while playing this bad boy. I wish somebody would do a remake or at the very least give another Punisher game altogether. Forget Army of Two, this was an army of one.
