I was there, their final show and my first ever. What a long strange trip it has been, I took the bus from Seattle to San Francisco. It took me 24hr to get there but worth it! Thank you for changing my life witth your music !

Seeing Mickeys face at 21:00when John sings “test me test me…. WHY DON’T YOU ARREST ME” and the crowd going absolutely nutts is so awesome. 50+ years playing the song and Mickey still looks like he’s never seen a crowd reaction like that. So epic. Timeless hit.

I am so fortunate and thankful to say that I was at the first show of this tour may 19th and the very last show of the tour here on July 16th! I am still trying to let set in what I saw Sunday night, so good! ⚡️💀🌹
A worthy finish to a great tour and a great 8 years run. Keeping the flame alive and also adding new perspectives and dimensions to the catalogue. Despite the boring, small but highly active congregation of haters telling us it was a money grab and that Mayer wasn't Jerry (he doesn't look like it but thx for telling us), constantly complaining about the tempo and generally seeming stuck in the past and unable to let go. Thx for some beautiful musical adventures Deadco.!
You gotta admit the new drummer brought back some energy to it though. The recordings don't lie. Bill is one of my favorite all time drummers but I think the long nights were getting him. Watched him in Boulder and had to be on oxygen last half of the night.
@@blakewhittington4336 I think it was a group decision to play faster. Bill plays the songs at the right pace in Billy & The Kids and has been throughout D&C's slow years.

I love the original members, but at some point, to keep things alive, you need new music and evolution. John's blues approach, in many way, harkens back to the PigPen days. Of course, Mickey seems like he is still game!
I feel extremely fortunate to have been at this final show of the tour. It was a very bittersweet evening, for sure. This band has picked up steam throughout this tour. It would be a shame to stop now.
Thought that was going to be it so I made the journey for the last 3 nights in SF. Now I am heading to the Sphere in just a few days. Bobby is showing his age at this point (voice not quite there at times) but I will always love him. Thank Bobby for a life time of memories, They Ain't over Yet!! NFA!!
Hallelujah from the Colorado Rocky Mountains ~ Enjoyed the Boulder CO shows and the 7/14-15-2023 shows in SFCA of this tour. They have really gotten tight in the Grove or "Pocket" over the years. Mexico was most Memorable : ) Cheers!
